Went as a nostalgic trip with my Mother & family. Fire area to warm oneself up on a cold night was not big enough for the crowd of visitors.
Definitely do not drive around. Pay to park and walk in. You'll waste over an hour of time to see an underwhelming light display. It's a cute place for young kids..playground, live animal manger scene, train ride, etc. Not worth the drive if you don't live close by. I would have given it another star but my son and I both developed food poisoning shortly after our trip theremay not be related but the timing lines up.
A unique annual event. It is widely known in our region as a Christmas destination. A good family activity. Many decorations created with holiday light designs. I especially liked being around a big campfire with cups of hot chocolate. Plan on taking lots of pictures.
Cute. Small. A lot of burnt out lights. Displays never really change. Stores are cute, decently priced. Horse drawn carriage, fire pit, kids play ground, nativity with live animals. Santa. Not really a fan of this place I prefer oglebay over all. I'd rather drive through lights and listen to carols. If I want to walk kennywood is way better. $18 is a bit much for what you get here. We were only on the property for about an hour. Not really stroller friendly.
My memories are great of Overlys. I’d like to re-examine the recent years.
A little expensive but pretty. Pretty much same every year.
The Westmorland county fairground always has a lot to offer!
In the summertime the fair is small and quaint but very cost friendly, once you pay for your entry fee all the rides are included the animals are well-cared-for and seem happy and friendly. There are always cute shows to watch and unique demonstrations.
During the wintertime this fairground transforms into a Winter wonderland fit for the North pole! With a live manger set/petting zoo, Billions of lights and Christmas displays horse and carriage rides and of course face time with the jolly old man himself Should you get cold daring your adventures there is a roaring Bon fire ready to roast marshmallows at!
Absolutely love this place. If looking for a nice time with the family or even just yourself I highly recommend coming out. Drive through and see all the lights then park and go inside for even more.. See the displays, enjoy a bonfire, sleigh rides and so much more..
A very well done display. I enjoy taking my family, sometimes driving up to 2hrs to get there. Always looking forward to taking more friends and family.
Neat little place, smaller than I was expecting. Enjoyed the horse carriage ride. A lot cheaper if you park and walk in than drive through.
Nice place for family's to take kids or date night with a couple. Long wait to get in but we'll worth the wait and inexpensive. My kids love the talking try very fun to interact with!
Really nice light display. We go here every year. They have horse drawn sleigh rides, hot food, hot drinks, Santa, kids play area, and a bone fire. Our 2 year old loved it. Lines can get long to enter but it is worth it.
Overly's is a great place. The sleigh ride is great. There is a small train that kids can ride. There are manger animals and a model railroad room. Santa Claus is here and you can get your picture with him! The lights are great. This is a wonderful place to go and build some family memories. If you go on a Thursday night the crowds are pretty manageable.
