  Went to get my passport. The process was straightforward and the staff members were friendly.
  
  Make sure to bring cash for the processing fee and and a checkbook to pay for the documents themselves. Also, don't bother photocopying you ID or birth certificate aead of time, they end up redoing it anyway.

  Went in to submit a passport application on a Wednesday night. The wait was very reasonable for the number of people in front of me (maybe 10min). I had everything prepared before I arrived, so the process of submitting the application was painless. The staff was friendly, and made it easy.
  Please note that to apply for a passport, you need to have cash for some of the fees. In my case, I needed $40 ($25 towards the passport and $15 for the passport photo). The rest of the fees can be paid with a check. This was not something that I was aware of before arriving, but is important to know if you're someone who doesn't normally carry much cash.

  The first time i called for the archive dept they were very helpful and was able to get the court records from my grandmothers divorce from the 1920"s and my mothers from the 1940"s thanks to Mike Murphy
