I ordered the Mango Habenero Chiken and it was amazing! The server was really nice. It was a good 1st experience.

The Texas Fire Steak is pretty good.. Drinks are good too.. However the waitresses need major improvement.. It's hard to get a fork when being ignored.well that's what it seemed like.. If it wasnt2for the steak I'd rate this a 2 star joint. Kind of disappointing it's in La Jolla..

Great place to hang out after work. Prices are reasonable. Food is great. Service at night is great. You can have conversations without screaming. Great atmosphere. Seating for slightly larger groups in the bar area was lacking a bit. Next time I hope to give it five stars.

Service was great, ordered a beer and server brought me a taster of another she thought I might like, unprompted. She was right, I liked the taster, the one I ordered less so. Beer prices very reasonable, 20oz pours for under $7. Didn't try the food.

No hostess, we waiting a while no one came, we actually had to look for someone to assist us. Took a while to get our food order in. The fish and chips was cool well and tasty. Unless you like semi sweet chocolate and a very stiff mouse I would not recommend the chocolate raspberry mouse. I asked for the desert first but it did not come out until way after the fish and chips. We were almost done with the meal and still I did not get my appetizer dish ( I was having it as my meal). I told the waiter I did not want it he said well you said you want the mouse first, which I did but I did not expect it to be brought out when we were done eating. it could have been an off night for the server as they were busy. I did not appreciate that we actually had to request service from the very beginning. Don't think I will be back.

Born and raised in San Diego and I've never been here WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME! Came with friends after seeing a play at La Jolla Playhouse and every dish looked and tasted fantastic I had the 2am burger & fries, oh my YUM! Very cool venue inside with a small outdoor patio too. Just a few minutes from UCSD

Delicious food! Jalapeno pretzel bites are amazing! cheeseburgers & chicken sandwich juicy and flavorful. Stake was so yummy.

Ordered spicy shrimp app and was good, I did not really care for the sauce on the side but everyone has different taste buds. The porter is definitely one of the best of the house beers. The employees are welcoming and I would recommend you to have few drinks and eats.

Overall atmosphere abd cleanliness of the restaurant was fine, nothing to complain about. Service was quick although the servers were not the friendliest. The food was definitely not worth the price. My boyfriend ordered a steak rare which was served to him about at medium and much smaller than pictured in the menu. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was bland and the chicken had an oddly wet texture nothing like a grilled texture. Wouldn't recommend.
