Excellent dining, delicious soup, sourdough bread, appetizer &seafood dinner. Our service was absolutely excellent! Atmosphere was very pleasant overlooking the water. Worth the price for service &savory food!

This place was not good we ordered medium rare steaks, they came out so overcooked they were basically jerky we ordered two cocktails that were awful as well. For 130 bucks I definitely would not recommend. You would be better off finding an actual steak house. To be fair the oysters were good though and the service was good.

We had good time here. Had a great table. The seafood was made very well. They have good food and drinks choice. We had fish and chips too, which was very good. They have good staff. They were nice enough to take care of each of our need.

Three years ago I would have recommended this place to anyone. Now, I wouldn't waste the time or money. First of all, the prices don't match the quality. For $38.50, a plate I should be able to get a potato anyway I want it. Even if it's raw with dirt on it. You never tell your costomers no we don't due baked. Second, if you have to put gravy over your steak then you should not be cooking steaks. Third, we only saw our waitress, when we ordered and when we received our bill. If you really want a good meal then I suggest you drive down 101 to the Chart House where the prices are reasonable and quality and customer service is top notch.

Wonderful service. Great waiter. Quick food. I ordered the $50 king crab meal. It is way overpriced friends! And to top it off NOT fresh and served cold. The rest of my family enjoyed their food. I want to give 4 stars.. just because the view and service is great. but I didn't like my meal 😪

Horrible service. Waitress brought out drinks and walked away without asking if we wanted appetizers or were ready to order. She never came back. The sodas were all flat. After 20 min waiting for her to come back we went to the hostess and they did not seem to care. Let them know we wanted to leave and just pay for drinks we couldn't drink. That took another 5 minutes before they gave us bill.

It is conveniently located with a great view however food and service needs to improve. There is little finesse in meal preparation and there is little gourmet available. So this is for all practical purposes glorified fast food at a high price avoid if you can

Good food selections but you're paying for the beach front views as well. Very nice interior. We didn't have the food, just the drinks but folks around us were getting good and it looked amazing.

After trying to decide where to have seafood, we chose here. We didn't have a reservation, so I was told by the hostess, that we can sit in the enclosed patio seating. I asked to see it first, which it was fine, with good views as well. I spotted a table cattywampus in the patio. I told the hostess that I wanted that table. She had the audacity to ask me if I had a reservation! I told her, "Ummm, isn't that the reason why we are being seated in here? I don't need a reservation to sit there!" She replied with "Oh, I still had to ask." I replied with "Well there is no reason to ask since it's totally irrelevant." What the heck?!!!

Moving along The clam chowder, and She Crab soup were very good. The Shrimp and Scallop Fettuccine was delicious. I got the Mixed Seafood Grill. It was very good! The Cioppino was good, but for the price, there were way too many tomatoes in the dish than seafood. Paired mine and hubby's dish with a Gewurztraminer. Fantastic! Good crusty bread. The food was delicious! The view was perfect!

Our Server was pleasant, but not very personable or talkative. She just took our order, brought our food, and our check. No special treatment or anything that wowed us for excellent service.

This is "the place" in San Diego for dining. After trying several different restaurants it is our opinion that Harbor House has the best food and has the best price/quality ratio. We have been to this place for three consecutive nights and tried both sea food and steak with wine and at all three occasions the service, food and the wine were great. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The view comes as an added bonus. I don't know why people keep going to Fish Market or other fancy places nearby with higher prices!

Great view, good food, lots of local craft beers on tap, happy hour 3-6 everyday! Definitely a go-to spot when we head to the waterfront!
Try the N'awlins BBQ Shrimp appetizer, awesome!

My wife and I had lunch here on a Thursday in January 2017. The interior (dark wood decor) is attractive and the views are great. She order fish and chips, which were very good. I ordered she crab soup (tasted just average) and salad. I would go back here again. We liked it.
