I love this store. Independently owned, easy parking, small footprint but they somehow still manage to have everything you need including many speciality items. I really appreciate that they offer half loaves of fresh bread and smaller quantities of fresh meat. The quality is wonderful and their prices are extremely reasonable. The cashiers seem to know many customers by name. It’s such a stark comparison to battling it out at the local Jewel or Tony’s with their crazy parking lots, long lines and where everything seems to be sold in bulk. It’s just a better (and less stressful) experience from start to finish.

Owner continually updates offerings and physical plant. With notification that Amazon is buying WF, it is even more important that such local stores are fully supported.
Fresh food in a helpful, friendly setting.
Additional posting: As their offerings increase, prices remain reasonable and service is unsurpassed this is a welcome option to more trendy chains.

Riverside is a small, walk-able historic community within which, Riverside Foods fits in perfectly, a fact that would seem an anachronism in most towns these days. I hope more people rediscover the convenience and personal attention community stores like Riverside Foods offer their neighbors.

Best grocery store in the area by a country mile. Amazing selection on meats, and deli. beer isle is huge and jam packed with great stuff. produce is always looking fresh, and is certainly delicious. not to bad of pricing either, i see some people are saying its to high, but its not a chain, theirs no isles a mile long. its small and family owned. you cant find a place like this now in days, highly recommended. employees are great too, always smiling and happy to help. i couldn't recommend this place enough, if your in the area there is no reason to shop anywhere else.
