I have been to many breweries and I would say the experience at Right Brain was not among the best. The staff were unwelcoming, we sat at the bar for 10 min before anyone asked us for beer. We ordered a sampler of 6 which was for $15! I hardly remember any brewery charging $15 for a sampler. Lastly the beer, they might boast of having won many medals, but I found them unimpressive. In their defense, they were out of their two popular beers. However, I wouldn't go there next time I visit Traverse City.

Right Brain Brewery hosts an eclectic mix of decor as well as beers. It isn’t uncommon to find strange brews like peanut butter infused stouts or mint flavored ales up on tap here. The space is immense with a ton of seating, arcade games, and even an outside area with benches set up on nice days. The inside can be a bit loud when busy, but the outside is very relaxing due to a quiet setting near the train tracks. The beer is tasty and unique. My favorite was probably an asparagus blonde ale which had just enough veggie flavor to be unique, but not overpowering. There’s even food available, making the brewery a great place to hang out all day.

Right Brain Brewery offers a wide variety of craft beers to satisfy virtually any beer enthusiast.

The staff is courteous and the space screams character.

Few breweries offer a sit down location that remains true to their original vision, but Right Brain gets it right. A well deserved 5/5 for this funky and fantastic experience.

Fun place! Salsa nice and chunky, the perfect snack with a taster tray. The Irish Goodbye Red Ale is the perfect pair with this beer. The beer settles down that delish spice in the salsa. Large place inside, bags and just a super cool hidden location where you can bring the kids

Great beer choices. Burgers pretty good. Would have been better had they been cooked medium well and there was not corn in the black bean burger. Fun live trivia as well. Fries were super yummy! Ordered chips and salsa, but didn't get it until we asked for it after our burgers came. Chips were not good. You order at the bar, then no one checks on you.

Love the atmosphere. And the beer is truly one of a kind. We did a flight so we could try a little of everything. It is a great value.

EXTREMELY friendly. Stopped in to check the place out as a fan of the beer and the brewery did not disappoint. Our bartender Jessica made us feel as if we had been long time customers during our first ever visit. Russ the owner popped up very casually. Initially thought he was just a random patron and after a bit of just friendly conversation we discovered he was the owner. Russ Brought out some beer that wasn't even on the market just to get some feedback. Bottom line is if you like right brains beer and enjoy a great service this is the place for you.
