Good kitchen for a brewery. The pulled pork with sweet potato fries makes for a good lunch. Also the Chicken salad
Food and beer are both solid- not the best I've ever had, but good. The place has lots of room, so even when the parking lot is packed it doesn't feel overly crowded inside.
The only real negative experience came recently when my partner and I decided to join the mug club. We ate and had drinks, asked the waitress about the club, got signed up, then got our check- without the mug club discount on pints. When we asked, the explanation was, "Well, you have to show your card before you order." Not a huge deal, just seemed petty.
Cherry chicken salad & Gorgonzola ale dip are so good. Casual atmosphere. Great location.
My favorite brewery in Traverse City is North Peak thanks to the awesome outside patio and great selection of beer styles. The patio is a great little secluded section of tables that is heavenly when the sun is out. The beer is good with several different styles providing for varied tastes in craft beer from malty to hoppy. The food is pretty good also including tasty and tangy wings. Inside is a large bar and restaurant space with even more beer options and a cozy vibe for the less warm days. When looking for the perfect spot to enjoy some local brew in the sun, North Peak is the answer.
Most accommodating staff! We hosted our sons rehearsal dinner for 45+ Guests and they provided us with a private seating area, a wonderful menu selection and a fair price. What took this brewery over the top was their incredible wait staff. They made our family and friends feel welcomed and comfortable! Thank you North Peak for making this an enjoyable, relaxing experience.
All of the beers they had on tap (brewed in house) were good, particularly their porter and cherry wheat. Food was also well executed but fairly average. Their walleye (in sandwich and fish & chips) was definitely the highlight of the menu. Ribs were also good with lots of meat on them. Make sure you get the brownie/cheesecake dessert with local ice cream on it!
Food was a slight notch above typical pub fare, most dishes with some sort of unique spin. Greek pizza had potential but unfortunately the vast quantities of olives and pickled peppers left it tasting too much like vinegar. Beer cheese soup was delicious but again overpowered, this time by mustard croutons. Fish sandwich was good quality and flavors were properly balanced. Beer was bland and with so many excellent micro-brews available you might as well skip this one.
Great craft beers. Try the sampler and make sure you get samples of the seasonal ales.
Great atmosphere and service. I highly recommend their Monte Cristo turkey club with cherry preserves.
Great food and deal for TCRW! Quick service and friendly staff! Only downfall was they ran out of vanilla ice cream for the desert but quickly ran to Meijer to get some. Thanks! :)
Food was really good. I like the atmosphere a lot. There is not much parking in the whole area because so many places share the same lot.
Watched a waitress handle a burger toppings with her hands. Not sure if I'm supposed to get bread or not some people did.. Kitchen worker with no beard net and touching beard without washing hands Yeah didn't get to eating the food. I'm sure it would have tasted great. Here food came to table before I could say only charge for drinks The good is awesome. Omg ribs are great.
