I didnt stay here, BUT.. I reserved the trip for business purposes for work. The person staying here said, it was nice. My lower review is for the office staff. I have called twice now asking for itemized receipts for reimbursement both times, the front desk person Janell is rude and will not let you tell her/him what you are needing. Just says I'll send the information. How when you don't know what I am asking for?? so today I call accounting, and same rude people again, what's your email I'll send it, what exactly are you sending I haven't given you all the information?? Oh I thought you just needed hotel stay information, Me, no I need itemized receipts for 3 days of meal charges to hotel room. if you would let me finish my sentence you would know. I don't know what they are teaching people these days, but being rude is not customer service. Listening and waiting till a person is done talking to respond is common sense. I will not book any people here again.
People were fighting next door. They were extremely loud! The arguing went on for hours before anyone came to see what was going on. And at 6am there was construction working on the hotel! The stay wasn't pleasant at all! We didn't get any rest due to the arguing and construction There was a refrigerator but no microwave! You pay a good amount of money and did not enjoy it! I will probably not book this property again. This was highly ridiculous!!!
I came here for a memorial service. The hotel is under construction, but they have quiet hours between 6pm and 9am. The room is nice! The king bed and pillows are very comfortable, and they have everything you need in the room (refridgerator, coffee machine, office desk, iron, etc.) The breakfast is great! A lot of choices and they have servers to serve you. The hotel has a huge lobby area with flat-screen TV and comfy couches. The hotel is clean and front desk staff are very patient with us.
I was there for CONjuration this year, and overall I think it worked out great! Some rooms were a little bit small for the event, but that's not the hotel's fault. My only complaint was that when I had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the service was really slow. I would've understood if it had been packed with convention goers, but it was maybe half full. It took a long time for the server to take my order and then a fairly long time for both the wine and the food to arrive. The check didn't take too long, but it still seemed longer than usual. Fortunately I wasn't in much of a rush at the time, but if I had been, I would have been very annoyed.
Everything we clean and nice but we asked the hotel twice for a blanket as the blanket that was in our room was just a duvet cover with no blanket inside it. And extra pillows a did not get them all weekend. Even though on mariots app the request was marked as fulfilled.
My wife and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel but we were not overly wowed with the experience. Rooms and decor felt dated, albiet clean. Staff was a mix of friendly and just doing their job types. Overall I would stay again with very little hesitation.
The hotel was nice and the room service was good. The layout and design of the lobby was beautiful. My only complaint was the lobby was nicer than the room, to the point where there was a clear break between the two. The room looked like it belonged in any old run of the mill Best Western rather than a business catering Marriot. It was clean, but looked dingy and drab. The bathroom was spacious and nice, very different from the room.
Pros: Very clean rooms, nice lobby area, friendly staff. Spacious parking spaces. Cons: However, I noticed they give the smaller rooms in the corners to guests using the US Federal Government/Military rate. No microwave and no complimentary breakfast.
Loved my stay amazing fast and friendly service. Room was clean everything worked really comfortable beds small pillows in my opinion. Bar was nice did not eat really enjoyed pool area overall great stay
My mom and I were going to appointments at Emory Hospital. This was a fabulous hotel for us. Close to everything that we would need during our 2 night stay. From checking in to checking out the staff was very kind, compassionate, helpful, and professional. I would recommend this hotel!! Great service! We will also be staying here!
Attended a convention here, so didn't see the rooms or beds. The convention area was well-decorated and in good repair, the ballroom was spacious and a good temperature, and the bar was well-stocked with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesMy only warning is that this hotel is only a couple of exits NORTH of the I-85 collapse point, so trying to approach it from the south is next to impossible and requires little surface streets that I didn't know existed, and my Garmin had trouble finding a route to get there once I was in downtown Atlanta. So if you are coming from Atlanta or from the airport, allow extra time to go out and around the perimeter and then come south on 85 to get there.
The conference rooms were very nice and everyone was very professional. The employees did a good job of being there when you needed them without disrupting other events.
The Marriott was beautiful. I didn't stay overnight, just had a business function to attend, but the lobby and the conference rooms were lovely. I very much enjoyed my time here
Here for a conference. Facilities are spacious and clean, with good design. Service from the front desk is outstanding - Sherrie at the front desk stayed late to make sure I could get some coffee. Highly recommended for conferences and large events like weddings and office parties.
Cockroaches and incompetence! Unacceptable repeated failures to honor room bookings when arriving. This is now the third year in a row I've traveled with a large group to for an event held in the hotel and they have failed to give us the correct number of doubles. This year we even called ahead to make sure they could guarantee us the rooms we needed and that our reservation was correct but when we arrived there were problems. This isn't a problem when they give you a double instead of a single, but when we need to sleep 4 adults to a room, a king bed just wont cut it. Additionally one of the rooms had a cockroach in itkinda gross.
