everything at this hotel was perfect. we had a quick check in, desk clerks and the concierge were always helpful and smiling. our concierge made sure we had umbrellas before going downtown. breakfast was great! pool and hot tub were nice. all of the staff went out of their way to make our stay special and memorable.

Nice hotel near Stapleton shopping and neighborhood areas. The hotel has quick access to I-70 and is relatively close to Denver International Airport. The hotel is nice inside and has an updated feel. There is a restaurant inside and many other eating options nearby. There is the Station 26 brewery around the corner. The hotel has plenty of parking on site.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Gave us an upgrade because of a computer error with our reservation. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and downtown Denver from our balcony. The breakfast buffet was awesome!! Beautiful clean room. We enjoyed our stay.

This is my go to hotel when in the Denver area, 1 - 3 times a month. Check in staff remembers you from previous visits. Love using the outdoor pool area during the day to get some work done before going in for a night shift. Restaurant is good, bar will get food from the restaurant if you ask (restaurant is currently undergoing renovations). Bar tender even made a special trip to the kitchen once to get something for a drink I asked him to make that wasn't on the menu. Gym is phenomenal; washer and dryer are free! Parking, however, is not; valet service has limited hours and is typically unavailable when I'm coming and going. The few times I have used it it's been fast, and they did assist with bringing bags to my room when I had to bring a lot of equipment for work several months ago. Balconies in every room are nice, it's great to have the chance to sit outside and eat healthy room service breakfast.

Wonderful hotel! I was there for a conference, and the staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a two mile radius for free. The breakfasts and lunches I had were amazing as well. There is a wonderful gym as well as a pool there. I hope to visit Denver again, and I will definitely be staying here.

Rooms were nice as always for the price. Front desk help was all but helpful at first after not wanting to give us the room we paid for (single king), but in the end the manager got us switched over no problem. Theyre currently under construction but everything was still nice. We usually come at least once a year to Denver and always stay here.

If you value sleep when you visit a hotel DO NOT reserve a room here. It is within 500 feet from a very busy rail line and all night long the horns from the train made sleep impossible. In case you're wondering i think the trains came by every 15 minutes or so.
The breakfast is $16 also. Very pricey for what you get.
On a positive note the staff was very courteous and were gracious and sympathetic when we cancelled after our first night of 4 days in Denver

I've never had any major issues at a Marriott hotel before, however this is worth taking some time out for to write a review. For several weeks (according to the front desk) they've known of an issue with nearby trains honking every few minutes. They didn't think to inform their guests until they checked in - if you are a light sleeper beware as you will be awaken several times during the night from the loud sirens from passing trains.

Then, I woke up the next morning scratching my arms and legs thinking it may have been a mosquito bite or such. To my surprise I found a live bedbug on the bed that I wasn't using. See attached photos.

The ladies at the front desk pretended that they had no idea what a bed bug looks like and had never seen one before.

Beware of this hotel, stay away! You have many options and this is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There are motels better than this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Nice amenities. Staff are great. Room was clean and we'll stocked with towels, coffee, etc. The hotel sits close to the highway and light rail so there is a certain amount of noise on a consistent basis. Parking is ample but does cost extra. Some of the rooms have balconies which offer some nice views. Would stay here again, worth the cost.

Remodeled rooms are wonderful! Very high end. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a $13 charge for overnight parking which I thought was a bit steep. Get a west facing room and you get a wonderful view and a balcony which is just the cherry on top! Very happy with my stay and will be a return guest!

We stayed here for a weekend and the staff was AMAZING! We had never been to Denver before so they were very helpful with suggestions and letting us know the easiest ways to navigate the city. Jerry the shuttle driver was so great recommending and taking us to this awesome little restaurant for lunch just a few minutes down the road. He was so fun and even remembered all of our names the next time we needed a ride. The other shuttle driver Ransom was just as awesome giving us all the info and answering all of our questions about the area too. This was the best customer service for a hotel I have ever had including all of the nice girls at the front desk that also helped us. Thank you!

Our room was nice until I found a needle, yes a needle you inject medicine in yourself with, inside my pillow case. I'm extremely glad it was in my pillow and not my 5 year old and that the cap was still on the needle so I didn't get poked by it. I found it at 2 am while searching for my head phones. My husband took it to the front desk and their solution was to switch rooms. Our daughter was sleeping and wouldn't have went back to bed if we switched rooms in the middle of the night. Also by that point we had already checked all the other pillows. We didn't feel like having to check pillows in another room.

If staying here I would recommend doing a pillow/bed check for needless and such. We will wait until the manager gets in to discuss this further.

Other than that Hotel seems extremely nice. It's being renovated which would have been nice to know when booking the room. The train is extremely loud. We were told our room was South facing which was opposite the side the train is on so it would be quieter and it was pretty loud. We felt bad for the people closer to it.

Perfect hotel with impeccable service! We were in Colorado for a Soccer tourney and one of the girls turned 16 during our stay. Emmanuel at concierge was so kind and accommodating. We brainstormed a surprise treat that was delivered to her room. It was a candy bar with different size jars, apple cider (Emmanuel traveled to a local grocery store to get the cider) and balloons. The birthday girl loved it (as did her teammates)! Thank you Emmanuel for helping to make her sweet 16 so memorable!

We came to Denver for our granddaughter’s graduation from Jonson & Wales University. I chose the Renaissance Stapleton because of the location and rates. We didn't know what to expect and we didn't know about the renovation. Yes the renovation was a bit of an inconvenience but hey, there are a lot of things in life that are an inconvenience. That being said, our stay was really first class. We loved the whole feel of the hotel and how very helpful and accommodating the staff was. We were able to bring in out-side food and have an informal dinner in the sitting / reading room. Our first night we ate in the Elevate room. We were the first to arrive and were waiting for other family members and they let us sit at a larger table to hold it until they arrived. The food was very good. The other times we had breakfast in the Vivace cafe. The food was great and our server, Angie, was super. It's nice to start the morning with a good cup of coffee but it's even better to start the morning with a person like Angie. She brightened our day! Our room was very nice and very clean. The TV wasn't working but after calling the front desk someone from maintenance was there within 10 minutes to fix the problem! Overall this was great stay and an excellent choice.

The staff was friendly and always willing to accommodate our needs (promptly brought us a mini fridge upon request). While we were here the hotel was going through remodeling and updates. The room we had was not yet updated, however we did have a balcony which was wonderful! We left the door open constantly for the fresh mountain air. The breakfast buffet, which was not included with our stay, was delicious, it also included an omelette station. The hotels lobby was also very impressive and beautiful. The bar downstairs also served Starbucks coffee, the bartender Dante, is super friendly and can make a mean drink! The location of the hotel was perfect, two dispensaries within walking distance and a strip mall with numerous restaurants, as well as a super Target and a movie theater. The hotel offers free shuttle service to anything within 2 miles, which includes said strip mall. So in short, we will definitely be staying here again.
