Large spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good desk, fridge, coffee. Great location near the MARTA midtown station. Negatives: No non-decaf coffee in the room though, and poor baggage holding service. They hold your bag in an insecure room (door not locked, sometimes left open, open to the lobby, no always monitored), and let people get their own bags (no monitoring if someone grabs someone else's bag)
The rooms were not bad for the price. Not the nicest room ever, but not awful. My husband hated the bed, i didn't mind it. We found a used tampon in the pull out couch and severely stained sheets. The parking garage is pretty precarious and I was worried I would wreck my car trying to naviagte it. All in all it wasn't the best hotel, but also not the worst.
Staff was nice but the room was just ok. AC didn't work or wasn't enabled so I had to cool the room with an open window before bed, the curtains and door let in a lot of light, and there were no hooks (or even a toilet lid) in the bathroom to hang a towel. There were also a lot of loud trucks beeping both mornings at 5am but that's not really the hotel's fault.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I knew the minute I walked into the lobby that this hotel was lousy. The front desk wasn't there and we had to wait well passed our check in time until they returned. The room was large and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was dirty and the pool was dirty as well. The breakfast didn't look appetizing at all. I was glad to leave the next day. I only gave it a star because the bed really was very comfortable, other than that, there is nothing remarkable about this hotel.
Stayed here for dragon con. Rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast was great, sausage eggs, bread, waffles, yogurt, granola. Coffee, juice. The location is great too! Right next to the rail station so getting to and from the con was a breeze for me. I will be staying here for dragon con for here on out.
Our hot water wasn't working and it took over an hour to fix. Breakfast was meh. Otherwise, relatively clean and well located.
The negative was there was only one elevator working on a busy weekend, but things happen. The big plus was the employee who helped us when we discovered our vehicle had a dead battery. I think his name was Darrell, he was an engineer, and he went above and beyond to get us on our way home. Thanks so much for the help!
Rooms are pretty nice and breakfast is fantastic with great coffee served every morning from 7 to 10. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, wifi is horrendous, so do not expect to get any work done in your room.
Not included in reservation: You must pay $18 per vehicle to park. I have NEVER paid for hotel parking in the 15 years of traveling. There is no overnight parking anywhere around this location so this hotel rips you off on making you pay high ridiculous pricing to park in their garage. Also bathtub not cleaned, still had hair in it. Room smelled moldy. People all around us partying and slamming doors ALL NIGHT. When the front desk was notified, they were not interested and did nothing. I will NEVER stay here again.
Very nice room. Had a sofa, chair, and little kitchenette. The bathroom was split with the sink on its own area. Overall everything had a nice quality and it has parking underground. They do charge for that however.
Good location, excellent price. Good sized rooms, though clearly well loved. Overall a solid choice for the area.
This hotel is not worth the $ at all. We stayed here for a wedding and didn't know much about it because this is where the wedding party all stayed so we just went for it. The staff is rude especially Paul and the rooms were nasty. You pay $18 a day to park and one night we came back and there was no parking. The only spots that were left we couldn't fit our car in because they were big enough for a Mini Cooper, I drive a sonata it's not a huge car. The continental breakfast sucked and for 200 a night this place sucked big time. Don't waste your money or time here stay at the Hilton like I should have done.
This is a pretty decent southern hotel. It has some southern charm and the room I stayed in was a nice size. The lobby is small but it has a little patio where you can people watch and enjoy a cigar or drink. They offer a continental breakfast which is OK. The best thing about this hotel is location as.
Very nice rooms, simple yet spacious. Breakfast I'm the morning is great, and has a wide selection of choices. Staff had been very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to others visiting the midtown Atlanta area.
