I really enjoy the new seats and I’ve gotten accustomed to planning ahead and getting decent seats online before going. However last night was a real downer , you would think a movie theater would plan to have enough staff on New Year’s Day which is one of the heaviest movie going days.
They did not have enough staff serving refreshments the lines were at least 20 deep for every line 20 minutes before the start of the movie we went to see and the staff that were serving refreshments while friendly were slower than snails.
The beer and wine is nice to have but insanely expensive especially for what looks like three or 4 ounces of wine in a little cup for eight dollars , we will not make that mistake again we will smuggle our own wine in somehow, or cognac in a hip flask. Three of my choices for draft beer were empty , all that was left was IPA which is great if you’re riding that current popularity wave for hoppy beer, but I am not a fan.
There was no choice of a brown ale or a Belgian style triple or even a decent lager.
If you are going to offer beer do it right or don’t do it at all.

It is the most convenient movie theater to me and the seats are great but it’s always not the cleanest, but if they sort the refreshment lines and beer choices I will continue to go.

The reserved seating is a true negative. As a business, you would be able to accommodate a lot more customers and give them more positive experiences. While standing in line I saw 10-12 people walk away after realizing they couldn’t sit with their party, including us, a family of 8 that wanted to pay for tickets and concessions, because we couldn’t sit even 2 members together. We took our money to Beaver Creek cinemas and had a great experience!

Do not visit this theater. After having an IMAX 3D showing fail to be in 3D I was given a readmission ticket. I wasn't to the theater and got my ticket an hour before the showing I wanted to see so that I would get a good seat since they are assigned. After sitting in the theater for 40 minutes another guest told me I was sitting in their seat, it was at that point I found out I was sold a ticket for the wrong time. I now had to leave the theater and try to find a manager to get another ticket for the movie which I had been waiting for. I'm now sitting much closer and in a worse position than I originally had. There was no apology on their behalf for their mistake just a general indifference to my inconvience. I will not be spending my 35-55 dollars an engagement at this theater in the future and I recommend others avoid it as well.

Make sure you bring a blanket when you come. The seats are very comfortable, but the place is freezing regardless of which theater you're sitting in . This isn't just a one-off either, but every time we have come during the heating season. I heard people around me complaining at the end of the movies that their legs were freezing. Totally agree! Also, it would be nice if they occasionally cleaned the restrooms. On our last visit, there was water all over the sinks and big puddles on the floor-a lawsuit waiting to happen. In short, this could be a great theater experience, but they need to get their personnel act together.

This was my first time back to this theater in over 5 years. It's a little bit of a drive from my home, but it was worth it. They renovated the place about a year ago and now most theaters have fully reclining leather seats! The place has been around for a while, but the staff are courteous and the facilities are clean. I highly recommend!

    Decent movie theater but overpriced.
    $5 for bottle water.
The food is decent but also overpriced and don't include a drink.
I spent $8 on a 3 piece tender and fries.

Clean, family friendly environment. I love the new upgrades with the recliner seats. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend.

Well first time since they changed the lobby and the seating. They now have a alcohol bar in the lobby but it wasn't opened when we were there. The seating was changed to fewer rows with recliners. So my original briefs still were not addressed such as the awful carpet smell, the lobby did not appear clean, the lighting in the lobby was dim. If they cleaned it better and less clutter it would be a huge improvement. The self butter stands for the popcorn were a mess and I refused to use it in the condition it was in. The entire atmosphere made the trip less than enjoyable.

Totally love the revamped theater seats. Most comfortable recliners of the "dine and recline" style seats. Easy ticket purchase and pickup through the Fandango kiosk just inside the entrance. Food is fine, normal theater offerings, but no in theater service, so if that matters, look elsewhere. For me, I'm most concerned about comfort, projection quality, and sound, and at all of these, this theater excels. Best part of all are the early movie showtimes. I love that they offer a 10-10:30 showing much of the time. Suits me perfectly.

The overall atmosphere of this theater is wonderful. The acoustic set-up in the lobby is entertaining. Every occasion has been superb, comparable to the quality I expected when I worked in the movie theater industry. The prices are reasonable relative to movie theaters of this variety and the luxury seating is more than enough to justify the cost of attendance. Furthermore, the management is very accommodating in the event of an emergency. A fire alarm was pulled when I attended a movie here and I was able to watch my movie that day and received free passes for a later date. The theater, as a whole, is a fantastic experience.

I go to the movies at least once a week, and am familiar with the dozen or so theatres in my area. The Regal in Cary is the closest IMAX to me that has reserved seating, which I prefer.

I took my friend to see Wonder Woman in IMAX 3D this weekend. While the movie and IMAX experience were great, the poor customer service by a member of your concession staff is what had us talking on the way home.

I have been to this theatre hundreds of times over the years, and my only previous issue is that sometimes there are only two or three people at the concession stands during peak times. I don't really mind the lines if I have reserved seating, but don't want to be forced to arrive to the movie 30 minutes early just to ensure I make the movie on time.

My experience last night, 06/03, was the worst I've had at any theatre in the area. When we arrived it was busy, but there were 4 or 5 concession reps available, so we only had to wait a few minutes.

When it was our turn, we started to give Alex our order. In the middle me placing my order, Alex yelled something to another concession rep on the complete other end of the area. I repeated my order as he looked at me with a blank stare. He then, got my order wrong, and I (very politely) advised him that he gave us the wrong type of soda. My friend and I apologized (even though we gave the order twice, very clearly). He rolled his eyes and made the new soda. We again apologized and said thank you. He looked as us and didn't even acknowledge us, let alone apologize.

Alex appeared young, and may just not be fully trained yet. I suggest training him on simple soft skills or moving him to a position that requires less customer interaction.

Our two tickets were over $35, and we spent an additional $35 on concessions. For over $70, I expect the customer service to be adequate.

    Very disappointed.

The last time I was at Crossroads Theater -Everything was filthy!
Staff stood around chatting in small groups, counters and floors were sticky and covered with popcorn and trash. Several staff were scratching at their beards and then getting popcorn which was pouring over their hands and back into the large popcorn display cases. One girl at the counter had her long hair back in a ponytail but kept flipping it over her shoulder and playing with her hair. I was looking around for a manager when one came out from the back - ignored the messes and staff groups chatting and returned to the back.
We are planning on going back tonight but if things are much better we won't be back but might upload pics online.

Update- I gave Crossroads 1 star because of how unbelievably dirty it was. I am pleased to say that I did go back last night and it was much improved! Instead of seeing staff chatting and ignoring the mess I actually saw not 1 but 4 staff members cleaning! Way to go:)
