Everything was awesome and exactly to our expectations, except at check-in. There was only one woman behind the desk, and she was not prepared to handle the big influx of people for the Avett New Year concert, when 10 or so of us showed up for check in at once. Other than that, it was great.

Its been fun well it is cheap too. Like you get a spacious room with a portable kitchen thats awesome. My wife is pregnant and this is the best place for an extended stay
    Keep your good work up.

Nice looking property on website, but old interior, ok prices in a pinch. Odors and stains. Tiny 30inch tv, shower was dank, cracked, and shower head was clogged and barely ran.

I honestly don't know how anyone has a positive review of this place. Sleep is the most important thing to me when staying at a hotel, for obvious reasons. This bed and the pillows were beyond terrible. The pillows looked like regular pillows, but they were about half the size and felt like they were stuffed with cheap cotton balls. I had to get a blanket out of the closet and wrap it in my sweatshirt to have something to rest my head on that didn't squish out or flatten to nothing. To make things worse, the bed was sunken in the middle. The heat was set to 68 degrees, but would let the room cool to a normal range and heat up to sweltering. The room was kind of dirty, too.

I should have asked when checking in, but I wound up with a room with a queen bed. Not two doubles, not a king, but one queen bed. I didn't even know that existed! The hotel's booking system wasn't linked to my booking on Priceline either, so getting checked in was challenging.

I've had good experiences with Hawthornes before, but will never book with them again.

Their is no binder as to what you usually find in the binder in most of the other hotels as to if you don't see it on the counters nor the table & usually be hiding in the drawer; it is totally difficult to find this place; the road has construction. When you can't decide what you want before you park you rather hesitate & you won't be able to use the debit credit card (ATM card) if the restaurant brought it to the hotel!!! They should also add turn into the villa could be left or right depending on which way you are coming from; their is no night lights on buckjones to see the signs; today I was aware of a sign that I remember coming from Walnut street!!!!

This hotel doesn't have a pool or hot tube. Pics are very misleading and they know that.
Hotel is old with mold smell throughout the whole place. Can heard the neighbors and people upstairs. Won't make the same mistake twice and stay some place else next time. You can do much better for $90

Complaints. Dryers are very old will not dry clothes completely. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the floor seemed uneven in the kitchen and bathroom, with humps and dips. It made me feel like I might fall through, especially in the bathroom. One side of the bed was comfortable, but the other side had a hump in it. TV was small. Breakfast was OK at best. I got the last of the eggs and sausage. No sofa in room. Just a stupid chair. So, you can't snuggle with your significant other on the couch.
I can't complain too loud. Everything worked. It has a refrigerator, microwave, and utensils. The shower and toilet worked. The AC did well.
Place was just OK. Nothing spectacular, nor nothing egregiously wrong.

Very clean and nice hotel, but finding it was hard. There are no signs by the street and I drove past it the first time. Other than that it was great.

Facility was clean. Bathroom spotless. Breakfast was tasty. Staff was helpful but your room is not serviced on weekends. If you ask for extra linen it will be given but I had to ask three different times before they remembered my request.

My home away from home. I had to stay here for about 2 months due to some unfortunate events that caused me to relocate until construction was completed at my apartment complex. The staff was kind and respectful. I liked the room set up and housekeeping services. The pet fee was reasonable. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Overall so far my stay has been fantastic. Super helpful & friendly staff. Clean room, nice bed, and they offer dinner on select nights & complimentary breakfast every morning. I'm a contractor from out of state, and the general manager sat down and met with me and we worked out a great deal. My guys are comfortable here, and enjoy having an efficiency versus a regular hotel room with a small fridge and microwave. They also have a small gym with two treadmills, an elliptical, a stationary bike, and a cable system with a bench Certainly one of the better gyms at a hotel that I've seen for the price. The only con I have with this hotel is that it is louder than some of the other ones I've stayed in. I can hear people above, and beside me. Other than that, a great hotel. I look forward to giving them more business in the future.

Highly recommend this place. My wife and I stayed on our wedding night which was great because it is a luxurious and romantic place, has a spa, has a fantastic restaurant, and it is very close to the airport making it easy to catch our flight the next day. Really no complaints. Pricey but I feel like it was worth it. Great part of Raleigh/Cary!
