Great hotel for people coming from other country to stay several day before take an apartment in Kalamazoo. I stayed in this Hotel for 2 nights before I can move to the apartment. The price is not too expensive. The room is quiet. Heater is available. Not too far from bus shelter and groceries.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. And I stay in hotels every week.. the staff is very inconsiderate of there guests. Ex. They let 2 tractor Trailers park right outside my door and run all night. They could've had the trucks park on otherside of hotel. It's a huge parking lot,and no one would heard them The rooms smell of smoke and the vending machines don't work. I would not even give this place one star but if you don't it won't post

One of the better Red Roof Inns I've stayed in.
The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and super helpful.
The location is fantastic, close to the freeway and close to everything.
    Really enjoyed my stay

Prompt check in; booking online was a process. Friendly front staff. However, no extra towels; no hairdryer per request. Rooms not so clean, but decent given pet friendly. Check out is at 12pm but housekeeping knocks on your door starting at 8am multiple times in addition to a "friendly check out call" at 10am despite communication that we were checking put at 11am

When I went to check in the CSR rep was getting several phone calls, was having computer issues, and the lobby filled up after I got there. But the rep Stephanie was very helpful, courteous, and professional despite how busy she was. I appreciate how calm and professional she was despite how busy she was.

Amenities aren't great and the yellow-brown liquid leaking from the bathroom light, that may or may not be the fermented remains of a body being flushed down the toilet from the upstairs room, could make an average hotel experience less that enjoyable. However, if, like me, you're one key short and you need to deliver by today or you left that organ cooler in your car for too long and need someone to pick it up ASAP, then the Red Roof is the place for you. Free back rooms for your night time exchanges are always open for those willing to put down a little more on the bill. Complementary services include no snitching. Additional charges for bedroom service, and I'm not talking about cleaning.

Nice modern room, but ac didn't work in room 146. We didn't get here until 1am so we were too tired to ask for another room. It was quiet and adequate. The bathroom could have been cleaned better- shower needed wiped down. Staff was friendly

Horrible place! No clue how this hotel even has 3 stars but it shouldn't. We stayed in a room with two double beds, both, yes both beds were made but the sheets were dirty! Pull the covers back and there were hairs and finger nail clippings in the one bed and stains on the other bed. There were dead bugs on the floor beside the beds and an empty used plastic cup. The bathroom was just as bad, the shower clearly hadn't been cleaned and the drains in both the tub and sink didn't drain. When we checked in the front staff was preoccupied with their pizza and social lives. The night desk lady was so frazzled about our dirty beds when I called down that she said she would deal with it and hung up on me. She did get me new sheets and blankets after my husband and I both complained and she told us she didn't have any. A hotel with no clean sheets, if we didn't have kids who were exhausted from the day and falling asleep we would have packed up and left at midnight. We won't ever be back and I highly, highly recommend you avoid this place at all costs!

It's clean as far as I can tell. The bathroom floors looks like it could take some bleach. Quiet only if you ask to be some where quiet. I had teenagers having sex above my room till for in the morning so Not much sleep

Easy to find. Thruway makes for a noise night. Room was adequate. Microwave, safe and fridge were handy. Towels were Not cleaned properly. Was multiple, tiny, curly, questionable hairs on two of them. Besides that it served its purpose.

You get what you pay forthis is a cheap hotel. I got what I expected for the pricea room with a bed. Room was clean. Standard king room was very small. Next time I'll pay extra to have the upgraded king room. They took my dogs so that was awesome. And the grounds were well keptnot covered with poop (as is usual for pet friendly). New grass was planted and there was a strip of woods behind there that was neat but would be neater without all the trash from the highway. Because I paid for a basic room, I got what I paid for and I'm not going to nitpick. Except for this pillows my god they were terrible. The bed was fine but the pillows were hard as rocks. If it wasn't for those awful pillows I would have given 5 stars

It's a room with a bed. There isn't much more to say. The room was clean enough and nothing was obviously wrong with it. It isn't particularly close to anything interesting, but it's convenient enough for business at WMU.
