Location was nearby several food options, and close to major highways. Not so close as to create a sound issue, but easy to find and great as a stop gap for long trips. No complaints.
Certainly not a bad cheap hotel, although I would classify it as such. Nothing wrong with that either. Service was friendly and prompt and the room I stayed in was clean. Walls are a little on the thin side but nothing to bad. You certainly get what you pay for here.
Average. Clean. Good food near by. Let us check in early. Maid tried to enter our room at 830am without knocking.
Overall run down and dirty. Our non smoking room reaked of tobacco. Rates were high compared to other red roofs I've stayed in that were much nicer. Ice only available back by check in.
Aside from the obvious upgrades that are needed at this Red Roof Inn at Harrisburg North, this was a good value for the $70 price tag. The room was well equipped with a king sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, desk and large screen TV. Although I wanted to see a tissue box in the room which wasn't there. Good deal at $70. Don't pay more.
Unpleasant place to stay. Arrived late to find room with bits and pieces of stuff on the floor. Missing a towel and I have to get it myself from the lobby. Poor service and poor cleanliness is all I can say for this place.
Nice flat screen tv. The bed is comfortable and clean but small for a "superior" king size, its just a king bed.. we found shoes under the bed and condoms in the side stand. The shower head leaks and the bathroom is very dirty as well. It was someplace cheap to stay. So didn't expect much, but next time I'll spend a little bit more and get a nicer hotel.
Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for me and the reasons I was in town. Great overall experience
The Wi-Fi is super spotty, but it's relatively clean Its kind of damp in the room though.
The room I got was not at all cleaned, the king bed was the worst spring bed I ever slept. It felt like I was on trampoline. The chair was the dirtiest one and food stuck all over. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
It was absolutely terrible, and would not recommend it to anyone. We got to the room and it smelled like urine, and in the other room it smelled like pure marijuana. Stains all over the sheets, the floors were very dirty, and we left immediately.
Stayed in outside facing room for two days. The room is advertised as having a kitchen but there is no fridge or anything like that inside. The room is non smoking but smelled very strongly of cigarettes. Floor was not vacuumed or cleaned and had tons of dead ants in the corners plus a few still crawling around. There were small black beetles in the bed, not bedbugs at least. The water pressure in the toilet was too low and it took 2-3 flushes to get everything down. Wifi was in and out, but mostly out. Very small space. I wouldn't recommend it.
Hotel is supposed to be 100% smoke free, room smelled as though considerable smoking occurred just hours before we arrived. Desk clerk says we are 100% smoke free, if someone broke the rules I can't help that. There is a policy to charge the customer $200 for smoking????? So I have to assume the cleaning staff did the smoking, fridge and microwave have not been cleaned in weeks, months, who knows. Hair and filth in fridge, hair and food splattered all through the microwave. I understand a cheap cost room, but before putting out envelopes to tip the cleaning staff, maybe they could clean a little. Oh well, they have refused to compensate us in any way for this, so I will just inform others so they can make better choices.
