Note I am not a sports bar person which will play into my review. However, I am a beer person, and the taps available are solid. Also, the waitress had great and honest beer recommendations which lead me away from a beer I would have regretted. Solid place.

We had a surprise going away party at Red Ox tonight and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience! From the first phone call making the reservation a few weeks ago until tonight the staff has been absolutely amazing! Thank you for making the party so easy to plan and a huge thanks for taking such great care of our huge party!!

Plenty of room with a bar and dining area. Live music on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday. There's shuffleboard (table) and a pool table. Trivia on Wednesday and drink specials from 2-6 and half off select appetizers after 10. The food is higher quality, not pre-fab flash fried, at reasonable prices, great for sharing. It's a good place for groups and has a hell of a tap (seasonal rotation along with staples) beer selection. Cocktails are top notch too. Located in a nice area by the college but not a college dive. TL;DR: Good place for eats and drinks with friends or colleagues and soft on the wallet.

It’s like a new age CHEERS. Everyone knows my name here. They’re open late and keep the pizza oven going until 2am. The pizza is awesome and well priced. There are daily drink specials, quiz nights, karaoke, tons of big screens, pool tables etc.

I really wanted to tell everyone that the menu on here is very incomplete. Please go to the restaurant website for an accurate menu. I sure would not have gone here from looking at the menu on this site. I wonder how many customers have been lost.
And by the way, I would not call their food typical bar food, far from it. I havnt been there in about a year so I was going to look at the menu to get an idea of what I wanted to have tonight. If I hadn't been familiar with them and only saw this menu I would not have gone. It's a great place.response / report this review -

Years ago, I'd come here with OU colleagues and we'd work while enjoying a beer. I also used to drop by for a good value burger and waffle fries combo. A couple years ago, I decided to try the pizza.. and I've found it to be one of my favorite BBQ chicken pizzas in the area. Although I prefer the pizza and burgers here, I've really never tried anything I didn't care for. Great selection of craft beers - some a little pricey, but never outrageous.

Last night we (65) kids and parents hit the Ox all at the same time. They did an Amazing job at getting hot great food out timely. The staff was wonderful and we all loved the food.
