I have been here few times earlier and the food was allright. But this week I was there and we got terrible service. The waiter had no clue about the menu. The manager had to come to find us a Thali on the menu. And then they served us uncooked chicken in the chicken tikka. When we complained, the manager came and initially did not apologize. I was furious and said a few things. On the good side, they did take this out of the bill and the manager was very apologetic after that.

The buffet is good and very inexpensive. I haven't order anything from their menu and I haven't visited them for dinner so can't say much about their selection of dishes. Good place overall.

I wish google provides an option to give zero star to this restaurant. If they would I will give them zero star. Anyways I bought lamb chops about 2 months ago to pick up. Brought food home and it was smelling , definitely rotten. I complained to the Oakland county health department. Investigation was done and unfortunately Resturant management was too smart to fool county health officer. They did not find anything.
Last night I ordered to pickup some food just to get that half off as promised during my last discussion about rotten lambs.
I went to pickup order and manager recognized me and he said you abused me (abused, when that happened? Lie) . He himself admit that his food is old, and rotten and this is how he does run this restaurant.

I was shocked to hear that manager is admitting that he in-fact serve bad food to people and was able to fool health department official.

He can fool Oakland county officials but not public who eat their food everyday.

I HOPE AFTER READING THIS POST, PEOPLE WILL THINK TWICE ABOUT DINING IN AT THIS RESTAURANT

The paneer thali meal was excellent and had a decent spice level to it. If you’re used to eating at curry houses in the U.K., even the “extra spicy” here is only about equivalent to a Wetherspoon’s Curry Night jalfrezi or possibly a milder vindaloo, but the food here is generally not as toned down as typically encountered in the United States. Fast and efficient service, good list of cocktails, wines and beers as well as homemade sweets with the pistachio kulfi in particular being quite good. Very reasonably priced-the bill tonight came to $26.50 for the thali, two small Kingfishers and the pistachio kulfi.

This is my go to place but today's experience was spoiled by very inconsiderate and rude employee. They need to educate him. I just wanted to pay and leave but good manager helped me to stay.

I have been here a number of times with friends. Good food poor service. The last couple times my schedule has led me to eat here by myself. As a single diner from the moment you come in during the buffet there is an air that you are inconveniencing them because you are only one person taking up a four seat table in their tiny space. The first time I thought it was me being sensitive but now I am sure as I was asked 3 times before sitting down "Only one?" I never felt like I was a burden in a restaurant before and for it happening againit won't. I wont be going backl.

Wow, was that good! Delicious Indian food buffet, good service. I love to go there for lunch. because it si so good very busy usually, so I went later today, around 1 p.m.: no waiting, and excellent food, as always.

I'm a regular to this restaurant. My usual picks are biriyani and pepper fries. And numerous times taken office colleagues. Decent place. But very disappointed when I got there in apr 2017. The taste of every dishes were unbearably bad. Later learnt the chief chef quit and started another restaurant called Seasons of India. Good luck to rangoli to not drive its regular customers.

Awesome food. Better than any other Indian restaurant in Rochester/Auburn hills area. I would recommend to taste Gobi Manchurian. It's delicious.

Really good staff! It was far from my place but its worth it!!!!! Yayyy! It was fun and, coincidentally, my favorite songs :) The food is awesome and really gave me the feel and taste of back home ; )

Best Indian food in Metro Detroit. Buffet always has a great selection. Korma so good. There's one guy that works there that's never happy and brisk as possible. Somehow, he just adds charm to the place.

We love coming to Rangoli. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is really tasty and authentic. Come on Friday nights for the live Sitar music. It's a pretty cool vibe. Also, this place is always busy, but never so much that we've had to wait for a table.
