My room was clean and simple. Service was courteous. But cleaning staff was noisy in the morning and my room was just by the laundry room

My daughter & her high school music group stayed at this hotel this past week, they left Sunday morning she said it was good. The reason for one star (I didn't want to leave any, but it won't post without one) is because when she got home we found that she was missing her special bear which was given to us when her youngest brother passed away she has had this bear with her everywhere she has ever gone for over 8 and a 1/2 years. We called the hotel immediately and the night deskman told me that he would take my phone number down and have someone call me. My daughter was up 90% of the night in tears unable to sleep because she's never been with out that bear. When I called the following day because no one had called me, I spoke to Paola, who I later found out is the manager, who told me they had found the bear. I explained I would be down after a couple of hours, but became sidelined when a tooth infection landed me in a dentist's chair with a severe infection. I called the desk on Tuesday and explained the situation to a very helpful young lady named Ilana who was more than happy to send the bear to me. I gave her all my information and explained specifically send the bear in a padded priority mailer and that I would cover the cost. I called on Wednesday day and Ilana informed me she had passed the information on to have him shipped, but didn't have the shipping info because it was locked in the managers office so I would need to call back in just over an hour; yet when I called back, I was informed the manager had left for the day
meanwhile, I have been emailing with the GM since Sunday night, or who I thought was the GM since she was answering the emails; come to find out it was the office manager Paola. When I requested a tracking number from the GM, I never received another response, and when I called today, I was informed by Paola that they had never shipped the bear and Ilana was new and didn't know company policy, and that she (Paola) remembered speaking to me on Monday when I told her I would come pick him up, when I explained that I called and spoke with Ilana, she again said Ilana was out of line for offering. And when I mentioned that she had been emailing with me, but couldn't bother to pass this info on to me, yet instead just stop emailing all together, I became upset. I'm sorry, how much do they charge per night, and they can't afford to send a young lady her deceased baby brother's bear at the cost of $7.00? Nevermind that I offered to pay for the shipping, instead, my son & I drove 157 miles & $75.00 in fuel to pick up this very special member of our family. Oh yes, and when we got there, the "priority mailer" they had placed him in was a plain manilla envelope.
I can promise 2 things, we will never stay at your hotel, and stories like this fly faster than flapjacks off a hot griddle!!
I did request to speak with the owner Bob Patel to which I was informed he wasn't available, nor did they know when he would be available, & no offer to send me to voicemail. And when I asked about the GM, I was informed by Paola that he will be back next week, so I will attempt to reach him to solve this "company policy".
Ilana deserves all the stars for being so helpful, and I will make sure that the GM understands this!
The greatest service any hotel can provide a guest is hospitality, and that includes going above and beyond the job. Hospitality doesn't end at free breakfast; most times it ends when the guest leaves, but in cases like this, hospitality should be embraced even more, after all, you want that guest happy, because we all know, unhappy guests spread like wildfires 1 unhappy guest tells 10 friends, and those 10 tell 10 of their friends, a bad review is written for others to see, discussions on social media, etc. can all damage a business

Reserved room online and noted a feather allergy. Called ahead and noted a feather allergy. When I arrived the front desk staff informed me that both pillows and comforter would be down feathers and cannot be changed "according to corporate policy".

Although the staff was friendly and fully refunded my room this left me in silicon valley trying to find a last-minute reservation. This kind of thing seems like a simple request to accommodate. If it's not, "corporate" really take a close look at that "policy".

The room was acceptable. The staff was friendly. The location is really convenient. Overall, it isn't extreme fancy, but it is sufficient for spending the nightat a reasonable price.

Perfect place to spend a weekend. They have reduced rates for weekends, and they offer a free breakfast always!

Front desk clerk was extremely helpful. Got there early to check in so we can take advantage of the pool and gym. Every time I stay at Comfort Inn, it is never a disappointment. The price is decent for a nice comfortable room. You get way more then you paid for. We had book on a last minute family getaway on a holiday weekend. Other hotel were taking advantage of the weekend and charging over 200 for a night. My husband and I were not planing to spent the night and just head home after the beach, but I decided to check out Comfort Inn and surprising their price was just right. My kids loved the pool and we had a great time there. I just wanted to throw this in here that we did find a dirty lady underwear under the bed which we left there. LOL. Thank you for having us!

The stay at this Inn was a very good experience. I would repeat of the opportunity arises again. The room was very spacious for two Queen bedroom. Ample towels, and amenities. There's a gym and a pool at the location. The Inn was very clean inside and out. Breakfast in the morning was more than enough. Staff was present to restock the food. The front desk was very helpful and friendly as well.

Very comfortable king bed, roll away looked felt and smelt about 20 years old. Soft towels but shower head could have been improved for better pressure. Great friendly customer service reps. Breakfast should be longer or you should be able to eat in your room, it was hard to make waffles(took a long time for batter) for my kids and myself while dealing with my four year old. Location was not great, near lots of apartments with path ways through parking lot and over the fence.

Comfort inn is pretty nice. The room is clean and spacious. There is some minor road nose but not much. There is a decent amount of light that comes in through the balcony but you could close the curtain.

Decently priced and good location if you're there on business. Rooms are adequate, but walls are very thin, especially if you end up with a room that has a conjoining door to the room next door. You can basically hear everything from the other room. Wouldn't recommend this place if you are a light sleeper. Also, housekeeping staff seems to constantly prop the back entrance door to the hotel with towels, rugs, etc. I was there for 3 days and no matter how often I removed these, the housekeepers would put them back. I did not feel particularly secure in the hotel because of this.

Beautiful rooms that have recently renovated! The bed was super comfy with super clean and soft linens. The free hot breakfast was so much more than I expected with bacon, waffles, cereal, fresh juice and gourmet coffees. Great value!

Excellent Service. The accommodations at the Comfort Inn / Sunnyvale far exceeded my expectations. The staff at the front desk was incredibly helpful and the bed, noise-level, wireless, breakfast, and parking were all great as well. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this Comfort Inn for its great service, location and convenient access to businesses in the area.

First- i LOVE Comfort Inn chain. Love their beds! Always enjoy their breakfast, which they keep replenished. The staff is amazing, which their corporate does an excellent job of vetting. This hotel is under remodel but not bad. Yes the bathrooms are smaller than other Comfort Inn's i have stayed at. But i come for their bed!
