Room had a lot of light coming in thru the window and side curtains. You couldn't leave the curtains ooen because other people could look inside. The heater was either too cold or too warm. Bed closest to the heater was always warm and had the air directly on their face or body while the other bed would get cold air vs. warm or hot air. Had to call daily for fresh towels, had to stop by front desk for coffee daily, cups were never replaced (and they were paper) only 1plug worked so you either plugged in the refrigerator, the lamp, or microwave. Sink wall plug (outlet) didn't work. Television took forever to turn on and remote only worked if you were directly in front of it. Door key had to be activated daily. We never got a bath mat, we had to use a towel. Continental breakfast we unappealing. We didn't eat there.
I think they were having a bad night. I waited for about twenty minutes for the manager to show up at the front desk. When she arrived she checked me in quickly. While I was waiting for here several other guests came to the front desk, either waiting to check in or looking for some kind of service. Another employee, the shuttle driver apparently, was nearby and explained to many people that the manager would return shortly. The guests who were not waiting to check in were there to get blankets and pillows. Apparently, most of the rooms were not sufficiently stocked with blankets and pillows. When I arrived in my room, which was reserved for my family of six, we found that we also did not have enough blankets and pillows. I've certainly had better experiences at Ramada before.
The lobby area smells. The pool is closed. The rooms need a makeover. And if the hot water doesn’t work, they should at least tell you about it. And the tv’s are small as is the desk to work on. Also, some interesting people walking around the hotel area.
Arrived at the Ramada, check in was easy, but I was issued a dirty room. Bed was unmade, trash was full, etc. I went back to the lobby to request a new room and they gave me another one, although it's not very clean either. The maids were in the process of cleaning all the rooms on the ground level that I was staying in. I found hair in the sink, sheets were wrinkled, the curtains were off the hinge, and it just didn't feel clean. Also, the location is poor, you can hear all the traffic outside. Hard to sleep
Bed wasn’t bad. Everything else about our stay was.
Room Ac/heater was unplugged when we got there. Plugged it in and found out it has two modes, 90 degrees or 50 degrees. AC or Heat all night. To top it off, there was no comforter for the bed.
Tried to take a shower in the morning. Hottest setting was about 90 degrees. Wasn’t uncomfortable, but certainly didn’t get hot enough.
“Breakfast” was a juice dispensary, a couple of bread items, and a “hot case” with funny tasting eggs and sausage.
Avoid if you are looking for something nice.
So we actually went to the Indian restaurant that shares this place. The food at the buffet was actually really amazing! The egg curry was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend.
Definitely the best bang for your buck big open very clean rooms comfortable homey feel refrigerator and microwave included in the room Courtyard has picnic tables and barbecue pits for your use if you're staying a few nights those are the things I loved about this hotel also get free breakfast only downside is his only 3 items eggs sausage and Waffles and that doesn't change same breakfast every day could get old if you're staying more than a few days. Now the negative although I feel like the good far outweighs the bad the front desk receptionist is extremely rude she is a dark-headed middle-aged lady she gets annoyed look on her face every time you ask her a question and acts like you somehow inconvenienced her anytime you have a question or need assistance however I met the manager a few nights since I've been here and he is super professional accommodating and kind all in all I would still rank it 5 Stars because I don't feel like it's that hard to replace rude staff
This place is the best value for the money. I got treated with respect and great customer service. The breakfasts are great and the rooms are immaculate!
Rooms were clean and up to date. Exterior could use a little more work, but that's not important to me, unless it's a huge detractor. Breakfast was good. Hot meal with plenty of options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decent Internet and an adequate amount of electrical outlets. I would stay again with the great price from Wyndham rewards. Discounted rooms are usually located further than regular pay rooms.
Pretty sure the sheets weren't changed between guests, pieces of cardboard covered gap between ac unit and windows. Bathroom had long strands of hair in tub. Fridge and ac unit barely cooled and security bolt I'd not work! I'm glad i had my dog with me. Only way I felt safe!
Had to book a room last minute due to a flight change the next morning and booked this hotel for it a close proximity and price. I'm not one to complain or cause a stirbut the minute we walked into our room it smelt of mold and the heat was on high (in the middle of summer!) So we immediately turned the a.c. on and sprayed some perfume to mask the smell and proceeded to unpack what we needed for the night. Once we started pulling sheets back to sleep we saw DOZENS of black hairs EVEYWHERE in between every layer, my husband and I are both blondeno dark hairs on either of us! We started digging around more once we found so many hairs. We found garbage underneath the beds along with a pair of men's underwear covered in..you guessed it! Cum. We figured that's where most of the smell was coming from. My husband took pictures and the boxers down the the desk and came up with a new room key and a promise to speak with the manager the next day. We moved to the new room and felt the need to check it outfinding more black hairs
I would like to add that the lady at the front desk was friendly and took our complaints seriously, but it does not cover the fact that this place should have a talk with some of the workers
I would not recommend staying here, please spend the extra $20 on a place that actually cleans their rooms.
Beds were not cleaned and bed bugs/bugs on the bed. Someone got bit. Nice place, but beware..
Good location. Friendly staff. Clean tidy room. In house restaurant available-good food. Near to the airport as well as downtown. Going under renovation, would still love to come back and stay.
There was an obvious odor of cigarettes inside the room even though it was a non-smoking room. Outside, it smells bad because of the location. The paint on the walls is chipping in many places. The sheets had stains. The complementary breakfast here is the average motel breakfast, nothing more. Only go here if you really need to stay cheap. If not, go somewhere else.
I stayed in room 248 because of a cancelled flight. Generally nice accommodations; the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was good. The only problem I really noticed was the chain in the toilet was broken so the handle didn't work. Breakfast the next morning was good but not a super wide selection. Also they had a shuttle to and from the airport.
