It must open on special occasions but I had there dinner and it was so good
We have eaten a few times at the Ram's Head Inn this time we were very disappointed. The service was not up to par. Our food was cold and so was our coffee. After spending $287.00 for four people I came away not happy. Unfortunately we took another couple who were celebrating their birthday and I was upset because they came because I spoke so highly about your restaurant.
Excellent food and desert staff is friendly, valet parking and free parkinglove the deserts and chicken pot pie is awesome
Bad food for weddings. I didnt paynor would I if it was my wedding.
We love it here! Food is outstanding and nice atmosphere. We were married here in 2009 and people still rave about our wedding reception! We come back at least once a year for dinner. Their beef Wellington is amazing. Large wine list. I could go on and on definitely a jewel of South Jersey!
My husband and I dine here frequently. The atmosphere and the old world charm of this restaurant is a special dining experience every time. The food and the staff is exceptional. Sipping Cocktails at the bar while you enjoy the sounds of piano music is truly a delight. One of my favorite is their Caesar salad prepared table side.
We thought that reservations made online were for the mother's day brunch. Upon arrival, they said you had to call to reserve the brunch. Reservations were only for dinner..noon dinner? Uh ok. They blame Open Table for not specifying that on site, but the actual restaurant site and Facebook posts did not let customers know either. There were many ticked off customers (not just us). Service was good and atmosphere was beautiful. Mother's day "price fixed menu" displayed while waiting for table looked promising. After being seated they presented us with a different menu. New menu was missing the entrees we were going to order after reviewing display menu. Error on them and would not accommodate. In summary, I don't mind dropping a few bills for a good meal, but the food was not worth the price tag here. I tried not to let everything else that happened cloud my judgement of the place. After all, my husband and I had been meaning to stop in to try their dinner each time we drive past. But luckily that is a mistake I won't be making again.
Classic elegant dining featiring top continental and french inspired faregreat happy hour, good wine list
In an age of lightening-fast food trends and self-conscious smart casual, it's nice to go to a place where jackets are required and there's Beef Wellington on the menu. Ram's Head is unapologetically old school and I love it for that.
Excellent dinner with good service and solid wine list. Was there with a large group and wait staff missed on several aspects. Not sure if it was the sixe of the group (23 ppl) or the quality of the staff.
The restaurant is beautiful, quaint, and I was anxious to eat there since I heard such great raves about the food. We were seated quickly and our waiter took our drink order in a timely fashion. They took a good 10-15 minutes to be served but we shrugged it off to it being AC Restaurant Week. The 6 of us gave our order but had to ask for bread - twice. It took the appetizers another 20 minutes to come out though they were delicious. At 8:30 (we had a 7:00 reservation) we still didn't have our entrees. When they came out the 2 who ordered filets were cold, so much so that the gravy was congealed and the potatoes were cold. When the waiter was told, they reheated(microwaved) the steaks and they came back dry and tough. It was NOT the waiter's fault, he was visibly embarrassed. They were obviously understaffed in the kitchen. We will not be returning to the Rams Head Inn.
Attended a wedding here. Nice enough place with typical wedding type food, which was good enough. I had the stuffed capon. Could've been better, could've been worse. The beer was good.
