The lights and bonfires are really nice. You can capture some nice pics here. Save a buck and skip the hayride though, nothing you can't see from the lake and animal petting area, and don't order the chili if you're expecting anything resembling the real thing. Bring some marshmallows and a thermos of hot chocolate or coffee sit back and watch the kids run.

I TRULY LOVE THIS FARM. IT'S FUN TO TAKE THE CHILDREN TO PICK THEIR OWN VEGETABLES AND SO MANY WONDERFUL PRODUCTS. THE SPINACH DIP IS TRULY THE BEST I HAVE EVER TASTED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE TAKE TIME TO GO VISIT THIS FARM AND HAVE AN ENJOYABLE DAY.,

Great atmosphere, good time. Couple things I would change, they charge to use their kids playground area(charge adults too just to go in, so obviously you have to pay regardless if you play on the equipment). Pumpkins are about average price but everything else in the store is way overpriced. $10 for a gal of apple cider?!?! I probably won't return due to high prices but still enjoyed my time I spent there with the family.

Awesome! Very reasonably priced! A great time had by all! Suggest getting the bracelet so you can enjoy all the attractions! Pumpkin and Apple Picking this time around. We'll be going back in November for Broccoli and Cauliflower. And, my niece cannot wait till It's Strawberry season!
Not to mention the Christmas Light Show! It's now our official "PUMPKIN PATCH"! Animal Farm, Playground and Shopping! Plan to spend several hours!response / report this review -

I'm going to start this by saying I love Johnson's Farm. I love the picking, the farm, the cleanliness of it. There is always a ton for kids to do there and you can spend the entire day doing all the family stuff! Here's why it gets 3 stars. 2 pecks of apples, 3 medium/large pumpkins and one gourd cost 40.00. 67.00 for a family of 6 to do the hayride, animal farm, and discovery farm. It is beyond crowded on the weekends in the fall. We waited over an hour to get on the hayride out to the apples and pumpkins. Food is way overpriced. 4 bottles of water and 2 juice boxes cost 7.30. There are less crowded farms, admittedly with less activities, but for much less money for fall family fun.

Extremely disappointed. Googled Johnson's farm said it was opened until 7. Drove 45 minutes to get there at 5 only to be told the hay ride is closed and with it the pumpkin picking and apple picking. spoke to management and told her of our drive and our I'll advised trip to be offered no aid. She took me to the actual website beyond google to show me the attractions I was interested closed at the time I arrived. Was extremely rude and of no help. Then thinking that we would save the trip and make up for it by letting the kids play on the playground we were met with separate fees for each attraction. Complete waste of time and utter rip off. We will not be making that mistake again.

Johnson's ispretty good. My folks and I have been coming here for years to pick apples and pumpkins. They've gone from a very small operation to a pretty busy place, especially on weekends. The staff is great for the most part, aside from the disaffected teen here and there. It sometimes attracts seedy-looking characters, but that's no fault of the farm. There are also a lot of families and kids. They're definitely going for mainstream appeal, and it's working.
Biggest gripe is the pricing. Granted, everything's fresh, but I feel like it should be about 30% cheaper. I paid $13.00 for 20 oz. of peanut brittle. It's quite good, but more like 9-10 bucks just seems more reasonable.
I liked it, but I'm not anxious to go back.response / report this review -

I am really impressed with how much Johnson's Farm has improved. I visited the farm for the first time in years recently, and we had a blast. There was enough activities and to do and see, that we were able to make an afternoon of our trip! "Farmer Doug" took us out for the hayride, and he went above and beyond! He talked about various crops, told us interesting facts and really made the trip well worth it! He was super conscientious and catered the trip towards my two year and the other children! The other memorable part of our trip was the "BarnYard" play area! It was cutely and cleverly designed for wide range of ages! The only reason i gave a 4, was for the cost. Even though our hayride was worth it, i felt prices and tickets were overpriced.

Had a great time with my family picking strawberries. Kids loved the hayride to the strawberry field and playing in the playground. It is a little expensive thats why it's 4 stars.

The kids love the activities they have, expecially the off road bikes. There was live music much of the day and we pretty much spent 6 hrs there fully entertained. The strawberries were sweet. Cherries we're not the sweetest. Miss Cherry picking in Brentwood CA. All in all fun place to bring the family.

amazing place to take kids to be outdoors. The park area is full of many play structures and for all ages. The mini water park was fun.

This is the only season pass that I will renew every season because my children love going to the farm. It's a great way to spend the day. There are hayrides that take families out to the fields to pick seasonal fruits and vegetables, a petting zoo with goats, sheep, chickens, cows, a donkey. When the kids have their fill with the animals there is a large playground with a splash pad, sand pit . Race track with go carts. Play huts with the appropriate toys for pretend play. After they have worked up an appetite there are snacks inside that can be eaten at the many picnic tables. The soft serve ice cream is very tasty; it's not too sweet! The 5 layer guacamole dip is addictive with their house baked tortilla chips. I always grab a chicken enchilada dish as well ;)
The only knock on this place is that I wish there were more shaded areas and full grown trees in the play area.response / report this review
