I stayed here for a conference. The room we we're in was recently remodeled however seemed though some corners were cut. Some of the tile in the bathroom wasn't properly installedwhich you think would be an area of concern.

The hotel seemed to be shaped pretty weird and a lot of rooms didn't really have a view of anything. At least it was located close to the convention center and other things in walking distance.

There is a restaurant at the hotel, and although I didn't eat there I heard it wasn't that great. There is breakfast at the hotel, but isn't included.

On a positive note, the staff was always very friendly and willing to help me out. (Whether I needed my parking validated, or needed my room key re coded!) Oh, and parking is free!

This hotel is kind of run down and threadbare. I've stayed here twice for business conferences, and wasn't terribly impressed with the facilities either time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the physical hotel is showing its age. The carpets look old. The rooms are somewhat dated. This last time, the card reader on my room door didn't work correctly. Sometimes it would open on the first try But most of the time it took 10-15 swipes to unlock.

Pretty shameful. Neglect and an obvious lack of care on the part of the owners, balanced solely by the kindness of the staff. Our two night stay was expensive and uncomfortable. It was a bit of a surreal odyssey from the time we parked in the garage to checkout. Grim is the word for the physical setting. We kept our socks on at all times and avoided going back to the room until we had to. Most of the staff were lovely, given they're stewarding a dying monolith (apparently it's been sold and the old ownership is obviously not putting a dime into it anymore). The town is booked for homecoming events so out choices were slim, or we would've moved. We could have been more comfortable for half the price at Motel 6.

Not good. Overcharged us when we got there. (Computer glitch when we booked and paid over a month before our stay.) No refrigerator, microwave or even an alarm clock in our run down room. Was told we could upgrade to a room with those. I wanted to use my Carlson rewards points to upgrade. Was told I could not do that. I think almost $1000 for a 5 night stay in such a hole(Am being nice.) Was way too much. If it weren' t for a great friend paying the overcharge, we would've lost a day.

The hotel is downtown, close to everything. Parking and breakfast were not included in the price. The room was nice, and our bed was comfortable. The elevators were not working properly. Out of 4, only 1 elevator was responding. And then it would not necessarily take you to the floor you want, so you still had to navigate the stairs.

The service was terrible the wait staff was behind in serving the food they practically we're throwing the food in front of you. Food wasn't good then at dessert they we're frozen not fresh and they didn't offer coffee had cups on the table but didn't offer any. Just terrible

The Radisson is an OK hotel for road warriors. Parking is $17 a night for guests. The hotel inside easily let's you know it could use a fresh coat of paint, but isn't completely rundown. There are 4 elevators, and as of this review, should probably get inspected, they tend to take floor requests as a suggestion rather than a command. Depending on how lucky you are, you may be given breakfast /drink vouchers, which is nice. All in all, it's a lower cost option for staying in downtown Rochester.

The air conditioner in my room did not work so I asked to change to a different room. The clerk at the front desk was very nice and gave me a much better room. Upgraded to a king bed with refrigerator and microwave in room. The fitness center is very hot and needs some updates.

I was here the other day for a conference, but I also got engaged here. The staff was so friendly, the room service was great, and the hotel was clean and pleasant. The chandeliers in the lobby are gorgeous! The front desk brought up chocolate covered strawberries and champagne when we told them it was our 5th anniversary free of charge. I would definitely (and have) stay here again.

Some okay but it's old the prices charged per room, definitely needs a overhaul remodeling. The garage is gross. Exit and entrance is same lane. Dangerous going to find a parking spot, and exiting same time. The mezzanine is beautiful and halls, maid service is excellent.

We stopped into the hotel to use the bathroom after a wonderful evening of poke hunting. The bathrooms were clean. We didn't come into any contact with staff but if we did I'm sure they'd be nice!

I went for a social event for RIT. We had a DJ, dance floor, dinner, and a casino room. Overall, the event was prepared well and I was impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. The dinner was very good for a buffet-style meal, and there were many desert options.

The convenience of this hotel keeps it relevant, but the overall building feels very business/niche convention oriented. This was probably a really nice hotel at one point, but there is a ton of wear and tear that hasn't been addressed for some time. Everything functions; I didn't have anything that was broken in my room. It just feels like I'm staying at a friend's house with a large dog that chews on the furniture.
