I loved it. I wish I could remember our waitress' name (I'm sorry Ms.!). I had a lovely conversation with our server about the different steaks they were serving and which one I should go with. She also helped in our decision on sides. The food was phenomenal. I haven't had a steak that good since a few years ago when I was at Harry Carrey's steakhouse in Chicago. It is expensive, but it's worth it. The type of place you would go for a special occasion. It was my mother's birthday. The type of food: jumbo king crab legs, real wagyu beef, escargot, is not the kind of food you'd have an opportunity to try at a lot of other places.
A tad pricey, but the food was amazing, and the service was great.
I have now been to Tournedos for dinner with my wife multiple times and have enjoyed it every time. We've enjoyed the crab cakes various salads, and wagyu meatballs for appetizers and all were good. We've also had various excellent steaks and sides, including the phenomenal creamed spinach. Would recommend, though fair warning, it's pricey!
A true five-star dining experience from the moment you walk in. I would have seated three people at a table and not a booth but that's just me. Appetizers were sizeable especially for the price. I highly recommend the crab cake or clams casino. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and huge. Super tasty and fairly priced. The only thing that was over priced was the wine. There is a good selection but where the hell did they come up with pricing at 2.5x retail, that's insane. Overall, I would go back but not on my dime.
The food was really delicious. The server provide some excellent suggestions. All the service at the restaurant was amazing.
I was very impressed with the food, even considering the high price. Everything from the salads to the side dishes were exceptional. The salmon is imported daily and was the best salmon I've ever had. Great texture, cooked perfectly, seasoned well. The steak was exceptionally tender, prepared perfectly, and delicious. The mushrooms were the best I have ever had.
The staff was attentive. The tables are spaced far apart to ensure privacy.
A life-long dream for me and my wife. Dreams do come true. Lunch fixe-prix is a steal at the price. Perhaps the best meal and dining experience of our lives, and we've had many grest ones.
We are at this restaurant on our way home from New York to Pennsylvania and it was just the perfect medicine! A warm, heart and genuine welcome which was followed by delicious food!
Double dated with our son and his girlfriend. The appetizer was divine!!! Open faced ravioli with fish. Striped Sea Bass was very good, but a little bit too oily. Just tiny bit! Wine selection was great! Disappointed that they not inform us about separate vegetarian menu. I did ask if they had specials which they don't.
We are going back tonight for our third meal here. We have always had great service and great food. I think this is one of the top restaurants that Rochester has to offer. My mom has mobility issues and I really appreciate how easy it is for her to be able to get in and out of the building even though its an older building. They have handicapped parking and a lift to get from the parking level to the restaurant level. My only criticism is that their dessert offerings have never seemed all that appealing.
Had an amazing dinner. Our waiter was very accommodating and provided excellent suggestions on what to order as well as a great bottle of wine. Even though we had an issue with one of the items ordered he made a fantastic effort to fix the issue and provided a complementary glass of port. Wonderful customer service and can't wait to go back!
