A very nice tropical looking and feeling place. I had an early flight in and was hoping to get to my room, unfortunately they were sold out the night previously, so my room wasn't ready. If it was, they would have given it to me. Which was very nice. They did keep me up to date and texted me the moment my room was available. The buffet is for a fee, but it was delicious. The room was very nice and spacious. Really enjoyed my stay.
I would have liked to have given a higher review but the negatives outweigh the positives. The air conditioning wouldn't drop below 70 even in the evening (it was 70 outside). Woke up one night sweating with it at 75 in the room. The door was warped and only opened with a jolt and lifting the handle up, not down. On the plus side, the rooms were clean. The breakfast was good, although the servers could be better. Overall I would recommend going elsewhere for a bit more if you can.
The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. There are fluffy pillows on comfortable beds. The suites have a living area separated by French doors. There is a small kitchenette with mini refrigerator, sink, microwave and coffeemaker. There is a small table with 2 chairs. The living area has a nice workspace, sofa bed, large comfy chair and ottoman. There is good lighting for any task, including reading in bed. The price is comparable to others for the location and quality.
The Radisson was fantastic to my family. We had a family member in a wheel chair and Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of with rooms on the first floor and shuttle transportation to the port for our cruise. I would highly recommend the Radisson Cape Canaveral. Carlos was excellent. He is a perfect example of excellent customer service.
Radisson management please pass on our appreciation to Carlos for going above and beyond and making this a wonderful experience.
Nice for an older hotel. Fine for an overnight. Probably would not stay for more than a night. Upgraded room, teeny tiny bathroom and an amazing pool area. The pool is definitely the best feature.
We had a group of four, (two rooms), on October 21st, 2017. The hotel was packed. We stayed one night in order to catch a shuttle over to the port for a cruise. We were pleasantly surprised! Our rooms were on the outside of the hotel in motel like fashion, next to the back parking area. It was also home coming. This hotel room was absolutely dead quiet to sleep. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. There was a young man by the name of Anthony that checked our bags for us after the cruise, so we could go to the Space Center. Every employee was pleasant and professional. I recommend this hotel for a pre cruise overnight!
The hotel on the outside looks a little dated, but the rooms are great. We stayed two nights since we did the park and cruise package. The staff are super friendly and helpful! Christine and Roland were very nice. The lady organizing the shuttle to the ports was very nice, helpful and efficient. So many people going on cruises and she got us there!! Definitely recommend. We enjoyed the nice heated pool too!!
The only problem I had with Radisson is room service moved a little slow and the kitchen. I know it probably was because it was so so busy during my stay. But other than that. I love it. I would recommend them ALL THE TIME. The front desk clerks were awesome. The guy that helped me take my things down to the car was super awesome. There pool is awesome. And they have a game room. And the beds are to relaxing and the rooms were clean and very complimentive. I love it.
Smooth check-in process, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Pretty much exactly what you are looking for while staying near the cruise port.
The swimming pool is beautiful and there are a few different options- wading pool, hot tub, waterfalls, general pool area- all pretty packed the entire time we were here, but what do you expect? We are a mile from a Disney cruise port the day before a ship leaves.
Love the location. Had no problem getting to local food, grocery, pharmacy.
I was here with a group. I have mobility problems. I found the sidewalks difficult to walk on, some were slanted, cracked.
The restaurant is nice. Suites are nice. Carpets are old. Halls are dingy in need of new lightbulbs.
Parking is a nightmare. Not enough for the size of the hotel.
Could use improvement.
Being so close to the Pier I hope improvements are in the future. I would enjoy going back if parking and sidewalks would improve. Not all disabled use scooters or wheelchairs.
I really liked staying here. The room was really nice and clean. The ceiling fan was a nice touch and the ac was great. I appreciated the extra amenities like the mini fridge, plenty of lighting, and extra power outlets. I was lucky to get an early check-in and even luckier to get a late check out. Most people check in before their cruise but I stayed after my cruise. The hotel had an associate waiting outside their van to guide me as soon as I got off the boat. That was a nice touch that I wasn't expecting since I'm used to flagging down rental car or parking lot vans outside airports. Another nice extra was the luggage station right in the lobby for getting your luggage tagged and ready for your cruise. They provided all the space and supplies you'd need like tape and staplers. I stayed at a different hotel in Cocoa Beach before my cruise and I wished they had offered this.
It's nice. Good pool. I don't care for the sleep number beds, but the rooms are clean and the towels are normal human sized (not the miniature ones at most hotels). Very friendly, helpful staff.
The room was very nice and clean. The bed we slept on for 2 nights was probably the most comfortable hotel mattress that I've ever laid down on. Staff was friendly and check in and out took seconds. They have a pool and tennis courts. Sidewalks also surround the area if you would like to take a stroll.
Very disappointed in the room compared to the price. Bed was worn out and felt like we were sleeping on the side of a hill. The room was very hot even with air conditioner going full blast and on the lowest setting. Iron had previously been damaged and it snagged dress shirt as we were ironing it, when brought to the attention of the front desk they did not show any concern. Also when we were checking in the front desk staff was very unfriendly and rude, he never smiled and had poor customer service skills. The location of the hotel is great and the pool is fabulous but that is about it.
