Haven't stayed in the hotel in many years but have been recently for events in there ballroom. The ballroom is very elegant and grand. The events have all been really good here. However when I stayed here the rooms were rather dated hopefully that have addressed that by now.

This is our favorite Hotel!! It is gorgeous, spotless, the staff is courteous and the food is very good!! I live on Long Island and it is truly my favorite place to travel to. Heading up for my birthday the week of Christmas and I can’t wait!!! I recommend this hotel to everyone heading up state

Attractive older building in the downtown area. Easy walk to plenty of restaurants and entertainment. Rooms are small, but comfortable. I liked all the older furniture. Some complain about lack of counter space in the bathroom, there was none, but it wasn't an issue for me. Food and service were great.

Nice room, excellent hotel decorations, would have been 5 stars but there free breakfast is really just 5 dollars off a menu item. If you like muffin, a drink, and fruit as your breakfast then you will be all set. Also the restaurant although mostly empty had a 30 min wait. We got our "Free" breakfast to go, I'm sure you can imagine that waiting around 30 mins just to eat while traveling wasn't our top priority.

A wonderful place to stay. Attentive staff with excellent customer service! And delicious food! I highly recommend the Queensbury Hotel for any function or for a quiet getaway!

The hotel itself is a beautiful building from 1926. The architecture is impressive. The room we had had been renovated and was comfortable and clean. The Park 26 restaurant where we had breakfast was very nice too. The bad: the pool is dirty. The pool building is beautiful, but the tile around the pool needs a serious cleaning job - people have started writing their names in the filth Despite this, I would stay there again, no hesitation.

Worst stay ever! The staff is very unprofessional and rude. The room was very dirty, had rust in the bath tub, the sink was cracked, multiple stains on the carpet, and the windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. We had an incident with a waitress at the restaurant accusing us of walking out on the bill when they had our credit card for the bill when we stepped outside. When confronted, she was even more rude, and never apologized. The manager of the restaurant thought he made it right by apologizing and letting us know he would "talk" with her, while she completely ignored our table for the rest of the evening. The experience left us feeling like we paid far too much for what we had. We left our vacation early and will not be back. If the review would let me I would rate zero stars.

I attended The Queensbury Hotel for a work meeting with food provided. Everything we ate was fantastic. The pasta was delicious, the chicken cordon bleu stuffed with asparagus was amazing and the desserts were stellar as well. The employees were friendly. I did notice that the paint is chipping and some things need a little refresher hut otherwise it is a nice hotel. Perfect for social gatherings, work functions, or just need a place to stay.

Everything in the hotel is beautiful as always. My complaint is the pricing of domestic beer at an event. The price of domestic beer was higher than the price of local craft beer in the hotel itself. As someone who much prefers craft beer it was difficult to be positive about the price and quality gouging occurring that night. I hope that management takes this into consideration. I don't mind spending extra for quality. But I do mind being gouged for the lowest quality available.

We were at the hotel for a wedding event. The wedding was well managed by the hotel, from a guest perspective. Drinks from the bar in the pre-reception room were a bit pricy, and beer drinkers in our group were disappointed by the selection. Appetizers were quite good, especially the sauteed mushrooms. Overall, it was an enjoyable venue, and I would look forward to another event there.

Very nice historic hotel. To be expected is very little place to put toiletries, etc. fun bar with local beer on draft and sandwiches. Upscale restaurant. Great staff

Returned for a respite from the city and to enjoy winter in upstate. We were quite satisfied with our previous visit and would wondered how things came together following the renovations. The grand salon area is absolutely beautiful and inviting. The amenities remain the same and other than a glitch with our room keys this stay was just as nice as our previous one. Highly recommended hotel.

I walked into the Queensbury for a social event, and was so surprised when I waked through the main lobby! I loved the new revitalization of the lobby!! I used to frequent the hotel, and never thought the new tile floors, new furniture, and functional flow of the room would make the place a nice lounging area. Visit if you can during the winter holiday, they decorate very nicely!
