Service was great, food was pretty good. I felt it was more American than Italian. Handmade pizza was really tasty. Has options like burgers, fries, wings too. Again, service was outstanding. Would go back for sure.
On a very warm late October day we enjoyed lunch (pizza!) outside in a very nice setting. Staff was very pleasant and efficient and of course the pizza was wonderful. Would definitely do this again!
Heard a lot about the pizza and it lived up to what we had heard and it was great. The crab cake sliders were also amazing. Friendly waitress. Very nice dining room.
My Mom & I went there for Dinner with my Brother in law and his sister! We had an excellent dinner with great service! It's worth a try if you haven't been there yet! I may go back to sample some of their Gourmet Pizza's!
My husband and I spent the weekend in Cumberland and were looking forward to trying this restaurant because it was rated highly on many pages, but ended up disappointed with our experience. Service was extremely slow. The waitress came up immediately, but then brought drinks, appetizer, and pizza all at once. During the time we waited the hostess came to our table twice to ask if we had been helped. When I opened my silverware there were tiny black bugs (8-10) crawling inside the napkin. The waitress laughed this off saying it must be the outside seating. When she came to our table the last time (had only been there to take order and bring food) she was brining the check. The food was decent, but nothing spectacular. We travel 68 often and we're hoping to find a good stop, but won't waste the time coming back here.
Food is good, prices are a little high for the area. Friday night live music is a HUGE detractor. My party was in the basement, and they piped the music in from outside, and it was way too loud. We gave up trying to have a conversation. We just sat there and made fun of the singer, who was obviously drunk and more than a little vain. Kill the live music, or at least keep it outside, and let us talk over a meal rather than hear the local lush sing jimmy buffett covers.
First time here pass by when going that direction to visit in laws or going to the beach and have always been curious. We usually stop in Hancock but wanted to try something different. This was very easy to get to. The cheese bread was a pizza without sauce it was Amazing!! The personal size pizza looks small but is plenty. Will definitely stop by again.
Great pizza, great beer selection. We always stop here on the way home from vacation. I look forward to it every year. Big upgrades this year with more outdoor seating and larger restrooms. Live music, and menu changes. Love the pizza here. Good portions. Great staff.
I'm at the restaurant right now. 4 different waitress saw me and nobody offered a menu or a place to sit. I found a menu on outside and checked the prices. Standard pizza is $14+tax
I found a empty table, sitting and waiting for the 5 minutes. In fact their Chicago pizza looks good and I was ready to order it but nobody cares. The wise choice is going out to somewhere else
Best pizza we ever had. Great friendly waitstaff.
A favorite! Been going for years, great atmosphere.food and drinks. Best pizza around! Nice place to sit outside and eat also
Puccini has delicious wood fired pizza. I recommend the Chicken Caesar pizza - perfect combination of crust, salad greens, chicken and dressing. Delicious Italian food and good draft selection. Great place to meet with friends.
My husband and I visited Puccini's for the first time on Feb. 11 around 7 pm. They were relatively busy, so I was prepared for a bit of a wait to be seated. We actually only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Once seated though, the wait for each item became the main topic of our dinner discussion.
Our server, who was pleasant, promptly took our drink orders, but then it took 10-15 minutes to receive those drinks, and my husband's drink order was incorrect - he ordered sweet tea and received Pepsi, but he likes Pepsi, so no biggie. Once our appetizer arrived, we had to ask for silverware and napkins. That was about a five minute wait, and our appetizer wasn't finger food.
Our food was served and drink refills were made, and then we didn't see our server again until we asked another server for our bill. I don't mind waiting to be seated, and I don't mind waiting for food especially when things are cooked to order, but I do not like waiting for a drink, silverware, or the bill. The food was good, but not good enough to overcome the service.
As we walked out the door, two employees were sitting out front smoking. They did tell us to have a good night, but we had to walk through the smoke. I am an occasional smoker; however, as a somewhat upscale restaurant, allowing your employees to smoke at the front entrance is not a good idea. And it didn't help to see employees on break after waiting for appx 30 minutes for our server to revisit our table.
I don't know if they were understaffed that night or what the issue was, but it did not make for a good first impression.
I visited Puccini with my boyfriend we made a reservation and was seated as soon as we arrived. However, once seated several servers walk passed us and none of them bothered to ask for our drink order. We waited for 15 minutes and decided it was best we leave. Never will visit again they have extremely poor service.
