We came here for happy hour and wanted to sit outside for the beautiful view but we're then told that you had to be inside for the happy hour deals. Super disappointing. Ended up staying here for dinner anyways and was overall disappointed with the quality of food for the high price.

Our dining experience was horrible! Seeing the inside dining area almost empty at dinner time should have been our first clue. We sat on the deck. The view was the only positive thing. Waitress was nice but not overly enthusiastic. Party of four with a bill of 200 dollars. Really? Each plate was less than worth the price. I repeat, these were average meals. When the hostess made the mistake of asking how everything was, she was told. She apologized. Eventually she said she would tell the chef. I doubt there is a "chef". And that was it. No discount of any kind. That bill should have been just under 100 dollars for all four people.
Lesson learned!

The food is great. The Cajun pasta, and the seafood gumbo are delicious. The service was exceptional. They went out of their way to take care of our group (NRLCA).

The service was slow post lunch rush. Our server was inattentive. We had to get water and drinks directly from the bar because our server never came back to check on us after the food runner delivered our food. The food was okay, the kids meals are portioned on the larger side, which is nice for the older kids. One and last time a charm. Maybe their A servers work the night shift.

I was really nervous walking in here seeing the place dead. Maybe 3-4 customers at the bar and no one in the dinning area. We had a large group and were quickly accommodated. The food was surprisingly good and the service was great. I would recommend and I would go back.

My family met here for dinner recently and I was quite pleased with the experience. The food was good. Nothing special but good. The lobster bisque was not my favorite but the coconut shrimp we're good. We had a view of the Potomac River from our seat so the view was my favorite part about dining here. To be fair, I'm not from the area and I'm not a huge fan of seafood but I review fairly and honestly. Helene was our server. She was nice and attentive. I'm glad we choose to dine there. I'm looking forward to coming back sometime in the near future.

Filet was delicious and could cut it with a fork. The crab cake was one of the best I've ever had. Carlos made my drinks very well. Timely service and great food and drinks. Ate at the bar for happy hour and was not very busy at 5:30 pm. Nice easy dinner.

I routinely eat at McLoones. Consistently good service, food, and the atmosphere is great. I'm always surprised that they aren't as busy as other restaurants in National Harbor; there is never a wait when the fam and I come here.

Chef Serge, in my opinion created a very unwelcoming, unfriendly atmosphere. My friend and I were celebrating a significant event in her life and our server Jeff was absolutely wonderful and allowed us to sit outside and order from the happy hour menu. My friend hadn't been outside in a long time and she just wanted the fresh air. When Chef Serge found out we ordered from the happy hour menu while sitting outside, he CUT US OFF literally speaking and told us to move inside. I say, sometimes there's always an exception to policy and the fact that Chef Serge was so inconsiderate and wouldn't bend the rules for two great people is beyond me. The Manager Cody was great and gave us a military discount. It wasn't the money that was the problem it was how horrible Chef Serge made us feel like we were criminals sitting outside while receiving a happy hour drink in the nice weather. God bless him but I wouldn't refer my dog to this establishment as he created a hostile environment. Thank you Cody and Jeff for counteracting what Chef Serge failed to recognize, customer service 101! He needs a life makeover and an attitude adjustment.

First time we went for appetizers and drinks at the bar. A very pleasant experience and decent Jerk chicken wings. This past Wednesday, however, a completely different story. The sliced steak was so tough, we're not sure how they even sliced it. The lobster mac and cheese was more like rigatoni in watery lobster sauce with a few small chunks of lobster. The waitress, who was very nice, asked us how we liked the meal. When she saw the look on our faces, she immediately got the manager. The manager apologized and offered a gift card. Since we already knew we won't return, we declined so she re-cooked the lobster dish. The second one was worse than the first and only had one piece of lobster claw. To top it off, the margaritas were $13.00 each and the manager didn't comp us a penny. The idiots we are, we went there a third time because it has a great view of the sunset. The drinks were still overpriced, the food was mediocre at best, but to top it off my wife got food poisoning from the clams (we know it was the clams because we shared all the other food except the clams.)
