I'm writing this review to let everyone know that comes to Guapos Restaurant in Bethesda please stay away from this place. I use to be an employee there for 1 year now the reason why I am no longer working there is because of something soo little that can easily be taken to court and sue the manager which his name is Paolo Arcieri. Reason #1 why you shouldn't come to Guapos is the cookers do not wear latex gloves when they prepare and cook food. Reason #2 why you shouldn't come to Guapos is the cookers leave the beans, ribs, chicken, salsa , guacamole ect out in the fridge with no lid on top of the food. Reason #3 is the waitress which I'm not mentioning names goes downstairs in the basement to have sex with other employee's then comes back up to serve food without washing hands. Reason #4 is that they have a waitress that's 19 years old serving alcohol her name is Mayra Hernandez which is Illegal because you have to be 21 & up to serve alcohol. Reason #5 is the hostess don't sanitize the menu nor table they clean it with Windex which is obviously not something that disinfects the menu nor wooden tables. Please stay away from this restaurant there's woo much going on inside that you don't know about and that it could be easily shut down if I decide to take action

Good place for mexican fare if you want mexican food. Food is good and reasonably priced. The area though is full of other restos if you have a different appetite.

Best in Bethesda! We tried a different, more upscale place in town, but I was shocked when they brought the entree and it looked like an appetizer. Made me appreciate Guapos all the more. Love this place. Get the fajita platter for three. Delicious and fresh!!!

Best salsa in town. Chunky, flavorful, spiced just right. Amazing stuff.

My wife and I have been to the Rio and Arlington location but this is the best place we've been to. All locations have good service and food but our experience in Bethesda was truly 5 stars. We were greeted as soon as we walked in! Bathrooms are small yet clean. Staff are very polite, they gave us privacy yet were very attentive. There was not a moment in which we felt unwelcome or ignored. There was no long wait for the food and it was fresh &warm. My wife forgot to order well done steak tacos, the waiter immediately knew she was unpleased before she even said a word. He was happy to help. They made the food 2 times. Until my wife was completely content. Desert was on the house. We were very pleased, they are truly amazing hardworking people. Definitely will return to this location.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food, service and atmosphere is out standing. Do yourself a favor and come celebrate your birthday here. You'll thank me ;)

Love the authentic Mexican food here. Everything is delicious and the Bethesda location has a great happy hour (reduced price apps and booze) until 7.

Went after a play up the street. What a wonderful experience. The BEST food and the service was perfect. We wanted to watch a particular football game and they let us go in a side room and turned it on for us. We will be going here for years to come.
