I used to drive out of my way to shop at this Publix - it has always been a pleasurable experience. The store is clean, not overly crowded and staff have been wonderful. Last week I experienced a young teenager scold me for coming into her line with more than 10 items. She condescendingly told me it was too hard for her to bag more than 10 items. When I offered to bag my (15!) items for her, she said she would do it 'just this one time' but next time I should be advised. I guess waiting in one of the other two lines behind grocery carts full of goods was a more convenient option for her.
Having worked as a grocery clerk 20 years ago, in my teens, I know it is not an easy job. But, bratty behavior from an entitled teen is never good customer service. I hope that the manager addresses this type of behavior in an upcoming training. Also, if your employees cannot or refuse to bag groceries over a certain quota, then they have to go! Make note, I will never step foot in this store again. I've decided to drive to a Kroger right down the road.
Convenient place for me to shop for buying one or two missing items. Very clean.
Always super clean and super friendly. I wish I could frequent them more but they are on the side of town that I do not go to much. Richard the Sushi Chef is the BEST in the WORLD! Not only does he make the best Sushi out of ALL the Publix Supermarkets but he is a caring and wonderful person! This truly is a 5 star PLUS location!
Our visit was very good.Donna was training a very nice young lady. We love having Public's this close. Always nice & helpful all of your people.Thank you for being in our area.God Bless each of you. Eunice Sawyer Jones
I love this store and have been coming here for 15+ years. It is smaller than most stores but it's very friendly, clean and efficient overall.
I do have a small problem to point out though. There are certain cuts of beef that are not that easy to find, i.e. flap/skirt steak, but this store always had some, freshly butchered, and Publix was the only place I could find it. In the past year or so the have only been selling it prepackaged(sucks). I thought it was only this store because it's small, but the store on Piedmont does it also. I wish all the meat they sold was fresh and not prepackaged. It's the main reason I shop here and not other places.
That and the bakery. I also wish they made gluten free bread in store.
Nice clean store with good sales. Items that are not on sale are a bit expensive. Friendly and classy service.
Best Publix store I have ever visited! everybody working in this store is great and wish the best to all of them, thank you!
I want to extend a special Thank you to Mr. Larry Gates. I live in Florida and my daughter lives in Marietta. She had surgery today. I was scrambling for a way to get some meals delivered to her. I'm not familiar with the area but quickly noticed a nearby Publix on Google Maps. Although, this store doesn't offer standard delivery, he graciously offered to deliver it himself. He even helped me plan it out. Thank you Larry, for bringing comfort to a long distance mother and a recuperating neighbor. This is why I'll always remain a loyal Publix customer.
Good store and good cashiers but never go with Beatriz. Extremely chatty and doesn't pay attention to scanning every item and coupon and doesn't allow correcting items prices if they show up as retail price instead of sale price and kept calling customer service over for every item. Avoid if possible.
