Had breakfast at The Flying Biscuit Cafe in Sandy Springs, Georgia, part of Atlanta. I ordered "Biscuit, Eggs and Gravy" (comes with grits for $8.99). I asked for a recommendation and the very nice, cheerful lady at the counter said this was one of her favorites It was surprisingly light but also sloppily delicious. Two eggs (I requested over easy) were cooked perfectly and were under the gravy. I've had grits in Connecticut (where I live unfortunately) breakfast joints and it is now clear to me that they don't get it This was amazing even though generally beige. 😍
They have definitely went downhill. Food was cold. Bacon was chewy. The waiter was nice though.
Cheese grits are the best grits I've ever had in my life! The turkey hash is amazing. I was full and could not stop eating. Service was great! We got our food in less than 5 minutes ! Can't wait to go back. I will be a regular!
This is a nice and fun place to have a breakfast to eat.I ordered southern scrambled eggs with turkey bacon that was very delicious! The waitress Jennifer was so kind fully knowledgeable with menu. The biscuits were yummy.
The grits here are by far the best and creamiest I've ever had! I keep coming back -- they've ruined me for all other breakfast places, since everything there has been consistently delicious. The atmosphere is friendly, and overall it's a great place to brunch with friends or family!
This is a fun place to eat! I had a chicken cranberry wrap that was very delicious! The waitress was so kind, especially since we should up 30 minutes before closing! The biscuits look amazing, so I will be trying them next time I go! Great place to eat!
We were given a wait time considerably shorter than what we actually waited. Turns out there was some slowdown with the kitchen. This wouldn't have been a problem except my dish was clearly kept to the side and not freshly made. The cheddar cheese atop my potatoes was rock hard, the food was unevenly heated, and the plate itself was piping hot to the touch. These warning signs came as a surprise, given I had expected the food to be rather fresh since the kitchen was slower than usual. The experience was still the usual otherwise. Good service keeps this at a 2 star.
Awful wait times. No reservations. Crowded with screaming babies. Service is good. Biscuits are actually terrible: hard and half cooked on the inside. It is like they were made. by someone that did not know how to make biscuits. The only reason they exist is that they do have healthier options on their menu. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
The best grits you will ever eat. Creamy dreamy grits and all great food.
Great food and atmosphere. The staff members are very helpful and nice.
Had a wonderful breakfast experience! Was encouraged to try the grits and for someone who doesn't eat everyone's grits they were delicious! It was a very nice and friendly atmosphere here not too crowded and the food of course was good overall!
This place is very good! They have vegan and vegetarian options and most everything is turkey or chicken. That was new and unexpected but it's all super tasty! The biscuits are a must try obviously and the coffee had a chicory flavor to it Worth the wait as it gets crowded!
This place really serves some of the best foods! The turkey hash is so, so, delicious! The raspberry french toast is also a personal favorite! You must try the creamy dreamy grits! Service is always great and the servers are always very, very personable. The energy here is very positive all around. I love this place also because of the way it loves it's community.
