I used to be a regular at kuroship until they received a 60 on their health score. This was my first time back, I ordered a Tabatha roll, one of their more expensive sushi rolls, and received no tuna (AKA the reason for high cost) and it looks absolutely dreadful. When I called to let management know, I was met with sarcasm and the gentleman I spoke with quickly hung up on me. Needless to say, it seems like they are on their last leg with terrible management and no concern for food service.

Shitake Mushroom sushi was quite good, but the vegetarian udon noodle bowl was terrible. The miso broth tasted completely void of any flavor and I ended up getting a refund for it. Also, the menu lies. That noodle bowl is supposed to have fish flakes but it's listed as vegetarian. Same problem with one of the sushi rolls not being vegetarian as listed. Server didn't know what vegan was but found answers to my questions and gave me a quick refund. Will not come back.

Their pricing is incredible compared to what you'd pay for sushi just about anywhere else. They've also got a great selection of Japanese beer. I recommend trying their Kirin Ichiban

I have been to this location many times and it's always been great. I love their sushi and service is always good. They are always busy and there's a reason why. Prices are reasonable (sushi is not cheap).

Good food. Don't agree with charging for yum-yum sauce (seafood) but still a really good value & quality. Rolls are good, noodles & rice dishes quite good as well.

If you ask, you can get a lot of things "spicy" that aren't listed as such- we love the spicy chicken fried rice.

The place is relatively dirty, having left with some sticky mess all over my pants from the seat and table, When I explained to Angela the waitress the seat was sticky she got water and napkins for me to clean it. As a server she didn't seem thrilled to be there but, I get it- work is work. She did toss the bill (like an actual toss) on the table without a "thank you, I'll take care of this when you're ready or anything". The hostess was pretty rude, not even speaking to people as she sat them. We ordered 2 side salads and 3 rolls to share. The rolls were OK, but not worth coming back for. Had the service been even a little better we may have considered a second try. The wasabi was the weirdest consistency and the food (for the service and atmosphere) is a little overpriced.

The sushi here is great! Service is quick. However, I was not happy with my waitress. I came here during lunch hour and asked whether they were still serving lunch. She asked me what time it was and I told her 2:50. She said yes, as long as we ordered by 3. She gave us the lunch menus and showed up two minutes later saying she had to take our order. She was not personable at all. She was also wearing booty shorts! Our table was located close to the bar and we heard all the employee drama. Will definitely return here for the sushi, but will ask for a different waitress.

Service was good and the portions were nice. However, the food was far too bland for anyone at our table to eat. There is no seasoning in anything, and they charge $1 for any sauce. We came hungry and left hungrier.

Price has gone up, but the great food is still there. They have also updated the look inside and out makes the atmosphere even better. Plus, if your a KSU student you get a 15% discount!

This place has the best sushi EVER!! Did I mention how amazingly good the fried rice is? Yumm!! Everything is fresh and so tasty! If you love sushi, try it. You'll never want sushi anywhere else.

Food was good.once we got it. Our waiter was great at the beginning, but I guess we got there at shift change. He left and never told us. After the soup our dishes didn't come out for over 30 minutes and no one came and checked on is. My friend finally said something and we got our food within 10 minutes. The waitress we got after that was great, and we even got 15% discount, but we had to ask for some kind of discount. I may try this place again and just chalk this up to an off night as other patrons seemed to enjoy themselves.
