Not bad for a grocery wharehouse. Unloading time on average is about 3-4 hours and expect to pay up to $240 for a full truckload. Folks are nice to deal with.
If you’re delivering produce they start letting us in at 4am and start receiving at 6am. Typical publix super high lumper fees and takes a few hours to get your paperwork. Pretty busy location easy access off I-95. Nice guys between the jumpers and receivers, pretty good location.
Because I checked in at the gate at 4:32 pm they called me 1.5 hr. later not too bad but she gave me the wrong door after I DOCKED and went in they told me I was sent to wrong section My door is a different number entirely and on the other side of the building so I had to dock again. No problem it's just a madhouse of everyone trying to dock and leave at the same time.!
And it is now 8pm and no one has came to table to check me in. Also product sitting in front of my ramp needs to be moved before They can open door to my trailer.
Another driver said his appointment was for 4pm and was sent to the wrong door first and just now docked at right door. It's 9pm now and still no one in my trailer. For my 5pm Appointment. Unloading started 9:25
Wow what a joke. Stay away if you can no parking at all very slow check in. Once checked in you are told to go to a staging area which doesn’t really exist they just have u park in front of trailers in the back and piss off the yard jockeys. Then u wait a few hrs for a door and then u get to meet the wonderful lumbers who come stocked with attitudes and piss poor work ethic. Appointment was at 6am for a simple pull off and it’s now noon and they still need time for some reason. I won’t be coming back here ever again
Tight parking & backing into dock. Once delivered there isn't any room so you'll have to leave. So plan ahead. It's better to arrive early so once unloaded you'll have the hours to roll. Unloading process is, very, slow. All employees are nice. Yard jockey will move dropped trailer if you need it. There are no parking signs outside; though truckers do park, anyway.
You guys talk so much shit about the place and don't actually know how it really runs and the stress most pple have to deal with the warehouse receiving is bad but thats totally different from shipping
Great people but a long process to get unloaded in a timely manner. Would like to see improvement in the time it takes to get unloaded from your appointment time.
Be prepared to spend the day here. Even with a 6am delivery appointment, you'll be lucky to get out of here by 1 or 2pm. You can't check-in before midnight, and there's only like 5 parking spots. If they're full you'll have to get in where you fit in and hope a jockey driver doesn't wake you up to move during the night. At least they don't timestamp the bills.
Average grocery DC. Found the employees to be helpful and friendly. Either they are having a bad day with the other reviewers, or maybe they were projecting back the same rudeness they were delt. In and out in decent time
Highly unprofessional office staff at this facility told me what door to go to but not where to take in my paperwork to check in. Called several times and wouldn't get a straight answer just get transferred to a line that no one would answer, kept trying with operator and they just quit answering as well. On ther other hand the lumper service was very polite and professional. Will not be delivering here again would rather go to a Walmart D.C. Any day than deal with this kind of " professionalism " at least you know what to expect from Wally World and they treat you with a somewhat amount of decency.
This place is a fu%*ing joke, waited 2hrs past appointment time for a door then took over 3hrs to even start unloading. Publix plain sucks! Will not take another delivery for this crap hole store chain.
The worse people I have ever seen in my life the guards has no costumers service at all super uneducated animals pss bring bananas for this monkeys here lol lol location in Deerfield Fl
Don't complain much when it comes to these kinda places but I actually feel sorry for these people. Unloaded myself figure I would get out of here quicker. 6 hours and counting. 1 pallet broke down to 4. Haven't seen any trucks leave either in our general area so everybody is in the same boat. One driver had 2 pallets straight pull off driver unload so slam the stickers on and roll right . Nope . Think use get the idea. Good luck . Oh and if you want to sleep yeah right. They tell you to go back out to your truck and wait for the light to turn green then come back in.
Plz don't park the truck on street. Me and other 15 more people got parking ticket. But nice place to delivery not take that long.
