  I've always wanted to be an operator in ProTools and I typed it in google and this place popped up. I'm so glad I came across this business. The staff was amazing to me. From Mihai to Jenna and Terron Darby who was my instructor during my time there. Mr. Darby was so knowledgeable and fun during this class. He helps out so much and also was patient with us all and went back to subjects when needed more time on. He also asked each person towards the end what we needed the most and he was able to touch on each subject we personally needed help with which was major to me. This is not a place that gets you in just to hurry and get you out and never talk again. They actually want you to call when you have questions and also encourage to audit the class and take it as many times as you want within the 12 months which is also great. I really recommend this place. My experience was an A + and I will be coming back for the Post Production certification.

  After traveling to Los Angeles to learn from the Grammy-winning audio engineering team at ProMedia Training, I have completed my Avid Pro Tools certification! I am now a Pro Tools Certified User, having completed both Pro Tools courses and demonstrated my skills in recording, editing, mixing, and mastering. I am proud of this achievement and excited to see where it will take me as I explore a new path in my career.

  Really enjoyed my in-person class at Pro Media Training LA! Everything about it exceeded expectations, from the staff, to my classmates, to the class itself. I’m a recording artist/songwriter who came in as a mostly self-taught Pro Tools user, and even though I’ve used the program for years to record in my home studio, I felt like I still only understood it on a surface level. Turns out I was right! Not only did my instructor Mihai teach me a ton of new functions I either didn’t know how to use or didn’t know existed, he taught me how to work faster and more efficiently in Pro Tools and helped me to understand the program itself and recording audio on a deeper level as a whole. As a seasoned recording industry vet, he has a wealth of knowledge on recording and manipulating digital audio as well as analogue, and does a great job of explaining how Pro Tools works and WHY it works the way it does. Plus he shared a bunch of cool industry stories and relevant information for people who are just breaking in like me! Jenna, who handles the administrative side of things, was also great and kept an open line of communication from the moment I signed up, making sure I always had all the relevant materials for class, knew where I was going, and knew what was expected of me in advance in order to be successful in the training. All in all Pro Media has a great team and I had a great experience, and I would definitely choose them again for any related training programs I might want to take in the future. Thanks Pro Media!

  I took the ProTools 101 and 110 training course in January 2023 with ProMedia Training. I found them to be very professional - the communication is good and Jenna Drey who organised the application did a great job of taking care of me. I then got some introduction videos - 18 in total from Mihai Boloni which were a great intro you could watch anytime. The instructor on the Day was Joe Sears who covered the whole ProTools 101 and 110 Sylabus which is a lot in detail. WE got recordings after each day of the whole session which is great and they let you come back for a whole year to take the classes again at no cost so all in all great value and experience.

  I have worn many hats in my career from music supervisor to music publishing, music production, and as a digital rights consultant for some of the largest companies in the world. I was the definition of a "self-trained" Pro Tools user, however, I was never able to grasp the software to the level I wanted.
  
  The Pro Tools program at Promedia Training changed all that for me. Not only were the quality of the classes incredible, the instructors take time to really get to know and meet the individual career needs of each student. The live-online program allows for free review classes, which is a game changer in helping to retain the material and begin applying it in your work.
  
  Lastly, the skills I have acquired from ProMedia’s program have not only made me more in demand in my career, but they have increased my value and salary- which is always a plus. Highly recommend all of the classes.
