I just wanted to say how thankful I am for Walnut Lawn Funeral Home. Melissa and Sheila- they are so amazing. We were treated with kindness, compassion, patience, and understanding as they helped us navigate this horrible loss. They went out of their way to help us with every little detail. I just can’t say it enough how much I appreciate them both. This is our second time working with Walnut Lawn, the first time was for my father 17 years ago, and I’m so thankful we were able to go through them again for my nephew. I hope we never have to deal with another loss but if we do we will always choose Walnut Lawn. Thank you Melissa and Sheila.

My wife passed at 3am. Our hospice nurse called Walnut Lawn. They answered promptly and had 2 ladies out very quickly from 15 or 20 miles from our home. They handled my wife very carefully and gently. They informed me of each of the next steps. Everything could not have been handled better. I am very pleased with their and all the follow up calls, texts and offers of help.

Broke my absolute heart the way I was treated 26 just lost my mom Having to be the only one paying for anything and doing it all On a teachers salary And I was treated so awful after I found someone cheaper I can't believe it ..that someone in this line of work would make someone feel so small after going threw the most traumatic time of her life I pray for them

After shopping all over town, I found this spacious and gracious place. I was treated with compassion and attention from the start. Communication was consistent and service was top-notch! The people at Walnut Lawn really care about you and your loved one, they go the extra mile, to make everything special!
Pastor Dan Hankins, is very caring and made sure all was just right and that requests were honored. He was very timely and helpful in planning and very creative in program design.
The atmosphere is elegant, comfortable and very clean. At this very emotional time, they reached out and treated us like family,. So if your looking for the best in a funeral home, Walnut Lawn is the only choice.

I am recently (October 2020) divorced. I am not trying to get back into a dating scenario, or seeking a companion, I just want to relate with someone, preferably multiple someones, share friendship, attend events as a group, have new friends. This first meeting has provided that opportunity. I look forward to future events, not just luncheons, but also attend movies, maybe Branson shows, luncheon outings, special events, learn new things, see new sights. I am encouraged.
