HEAVEN ON EARTH!

This place is a dream for any guitar enthusiast. From beginners to pro’s, these guys have the most extensive guitar collection I’ve ever seen.

The store is well organized with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff, they encourage you to try out any guitar you like and have private rooms to plug them in and noodle around.

A must visit for any guitarist traveling to Chicago.

The guitar store of my dreams! Made a pilgrimage here earlier this year to purchase a new high-end acoustic after playing guitar for 25+ years. Spent three hours in the store comparing various makes and models and settled on an Atkin, which is a manufacturer I was not familiar with, and could not be happier with my purchase. The sales team was welcoming, but not pushy, the selection was top-notch. I could easily spend $10K+ here without batting an eye!

Very cool place if you like music. There is a ton of cool guitars and the interior is inviting and super cool. We ended up with a Drum Stick Bag. Luckily my husband didnt purchase a drum set while i went to the bathroom. Very cool spot check it out.

My brother and I went here for their great variety of guitars. He was looking at purchasing something that would last him the rest of his life.

Ross helped us out in the acoustic room. Making suggestions based off my brother's input. He finally settled on a used Atkin, a brand we have heard of, but never seen nor played.

Chicago Music Exchange's staff and inventory of new and used equipment are phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Just a unique experience. A ton of guitars, some of which you will not find anywhere else in the world. The staff are friendly music lovers always ready to help and provide advice. I played some of my long-desired guitars in the booth, and just enjoyed the array of available instruments and the atmosphere, with loads of interesting pictures and guitars of famous musicians displayed all around the place as an added bonus.
