Hands down the best steak you can buy in Miami Beach. I have come here many times and have always been impressed. Although the wait is almost always long, it is worth the amazing steak that you will have. I would recommend the tomahawk steak if there is somebody at your table willing to share this behemoth with you. Overall, Prime 112 is an amazing place and should be attended by all steak lovers in Miami Beach.
The phone etiquette was so poor by Camille the hostess, we canceled our reservation! We called to find out if they carry a champagne we wanted and she sounded like she was asleep and didn’t want to be at work. FYI Prime 112: a customer’s first impression should always be good especially if they’ve never been to your restaurant before. Good job 👏🏾 you just lost a table that was ready to spend money for a birthday celebration. That’s ok we’ll take our business to Area 31 where they treat you like royalty. We wouldn’t be happy spending money where the hostess is not even happy to answer the phone nicely.
#1 restaurant in SoBe. Menu is amazing. Food is always spectacular. Service is fair. They entertain a lot of local celebrities so the scene is also a treat and international. Prices are high but absolutely not ridiculous.
Had the best steak I've ever had before. All the apps were great and the service was amazing. Would highly recommend this place. All prices were comparable to other high end steak places.
Beautiful place to be but I ordered a lobster tail for $45, I would think it was coming in a nice amount of shape. Wrong! The lobster tail was very small and basic. I could’ve bought one from a market and made it at home for much less of a price. The seafood Mac was very good. I think this restaurant is a bit overrated and should serve bigger and better quality’s for the amount of money they’re asking for.
I had a business lunch here recently, and I was happy with the food and service. Be prepared for enormous portions even if only ordering a salad. The food is delicious so you can always pack it up and take it with you. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Terrible experience. The place is very noisy, waiters not all friendly, and the food is very expensive. The meat was extremely tasty. soft, correct stitch. I ordered an accompaniment of spinach cream, awful, and the waiter took it out and ignored it. We went to pay and none of the 3 credit cards was accepted and the waiter once again ignored it and said that the problem was not the machine. Anyway, not worth the price
Why this place is so popular is a mystery except that it is just a see and be seen, let's see who can talk and laugh the loudest to get the most attention, phony superficial money sucking establishment for plastic South Beach morons (including the staff). Why do they even bother taking reservations when two to three hours after the reservation time there is a very good chance you will not be seated. Well, if you do want a table within maybe an hour of your designated time, be sure to take an extra $100 to slip to the numb-brained staff and voila, a table will be made available. But then, you most likely will be crammed into a space so tiny that will make flying economy on Spirit Airlines seem luxurious. Forget about having Amy room on the tiny table to actuall have your food items arranged and be prepared to be bumped into and knocked around by wait staff and other patrons the whole time you are eating. And, please don't expect to have any meaningful conversation with the person you are dining with because the decibel level of the other diners having to scream to caery on a conservation just makes the slightest attempt to talk impossible. Oh, and if you think you can dine outside to avoid some of this madness, please understand there is nothing to guarantee the table next to you will not be occupied by people smoking cigarettes and flowing them directly in your direction while you are eating. Have I even mentioned the food? No. But I will say the food is good - most of the time. But, after putting up with the spectacle I have described above, I really could care less what the food is like. But, this is South Beach and sort of par for the course in a world where people mainly exist to see who can make the biggest phony impression by making sure their Bentley or Rolls is the one Parker in front of this restaurant. If that sort of thing defines who you are, go to Prime 112, get totally wasted on Cristal and have a wonderful evening. For me, I am the type who would rather sit on the balcony of my peaceful condo and wake up the next morning sober without having had to endure the torture of this establishment.
I don't even want to give a starthis place has horrible service and they don't tell you that you have to have a card with a chip to begin with. When we went to pay our nearly $300 bill (money wasn't the problem) we gave them our card (without chip) and they said "unfortunately we can't accept that, do you have another card" no we don't, they said "well in the hotel next door you can go take out cash!!!" This is not how an expensive "high class" restaurant should be ran and most definitely not how you should treat your clients. When we refused to go out of our way to go take cash out and told them our only form of payment was our card they said they would CALL THE COPS! Disgusting and appalling and EMBARRASSING!! This happened about 1 month ago, I wasn't going to put a review but I'm still bothered very much by this. My boyfriend and I like to fine dine often and enjoy our time at upscale restaurants, well I don't recommend this one AT ALL! I know it's a popular one but a restaurant that would treat their customers like this, in an upscale location especially, deserves a bad reviewand definitely not deserving of our money. I pay YOU for a service don't forget that, customers ALWAYS right!!
I had one night in South Beach and definitely picked the right restaurant. The sea bass was perfect. I had to finish with Key lime pie.
It was packed, however I got terrific service.
Thanks Kevin.
I don't know if I was really hungry or what, but this was the best steak I've had in South Florida. I also can't forget to mention their sweet potato mash which was absolutely amazing. Whenever I can I think I'll go back there just for that. Don't expect it to be inexpensive, however, like I said above the food is amazing. Parking is kind of a hassle because it is in South Beach so plan ahead.
Simply the BEST FOOD IN FLORIDA! Service is wonderful once you're seated; even with reservations you'll probably wait; ask for Kyle; great waiter ; awesome wine list & great Martinis! One of my 3 faves in the USA
Local celebrity and crowd favorite! Prime 112 is the place to meet up with clients or a romantic dinner. Everything that comes out of this kitchen is 5 stars. Long lines are usually a good sign.and expect a little wait here even with reservations. But the bar scene while you wait. with every drink your heart desires and bacon appetizers served in a glass will keep you more than content. No food recommendations because everything is amazing!!!
This is my third time here. I'll start by saying the food is delicious. Never had something that didn't taste delicious. Service and experience on the other hand is very disappointing. I had an 8pm reservation and wasn't seated until 9:20pm. The dining room was EXCEPTIONALLY loud and nothing close to intimate. Although the food is good, I won't be back. They HAVE to do better.
Prime 112 is absolutely my favorite restaurant. This past Saturday was my 3rd time there and it was delicious as always. Our waitress, Jackie, was wonderful. She was so accommodating and took excellent care of us. Anyone looking for an amazing dinner in South Beach, this is the place to go!
