This a gem of a restaurant in Miami. It had it's heyday in the 90s and then had a downturn for a while. Its now as great as ever. It has the best views of any restaurant in Miami. You can eat inside or outside and enjoy some delicious plates. The food is esquisite and drinks are perfectly prepared. I will certainly be back

We had reservations for 7pm and waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we waited about 1/2 hour till anyone came to our table. The server that came to our table never came back. We stopped another server and asked if someone was waiting on our table. That server then waited on us and took drink order. Then we waited another 20 minutes until we were asked to order. We were a party of 8 and only had one server. He did the best he could but service was very slow. The food was good but we certainly didn't feel that our patronage was appreciated.

Went for brunch on my birthday. It was a great time. The staff was super friendly and food was delicious. We had the octopus, calamari, burger and grouper sandwich. Everything came out perfect. (Brunch/lunch is much more affordable than dinner)

The Rusty Pelican is all about the ambience!!!! Albeit a tad overpriced, the food is delicious and prepared with quality ingredients. Not to mention that the portions are generous! You're paying for the location above anything else right in the heart of downtown Miami Beach, with a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. It's a treat for the senses indeed!!!

I went yesterday (Friday) The view is nice, but the parking is a hustle. I managed to find one and the bar was full. I get it. The greeters told us to go outside to the tables. We did. We already had eaten, so we wanted drinks and an appetizer. The waitress asked us if we were having dinner I said no just drinks and an appetizer. She then stated oh then you need to sit on the fire pit there was plenty of available tables and no other people waiting. I felt disrespected. Like if I didn't spend over 100 dollars to not even bother. The fire pit chairs were uncomfortable and I felt as if I was there to tan the fire pit was off so it was kind of odd I felt as if we were punished for not having dinner. we left! I hope they educate the waitress because her customer service was horrible.

This place was great! Our waiter, Ricardo was the best. The food was excellent but a little pricey. The atmosphere and service made up for it. I ordered the key lime pie for dessert and mentioned it was in memory of my mom because that was her favorite dessert and they brought out the dessert with her name written in chocolate. It was a great experience and something I will remember for a long time.

Parking was a hassle and very tight. Waiter was snippy when he brought me the wrong order. When I addressed it he took almost 20 minutes to bring me the right order and due to the appetizer being so small and being hungry at that point i just ate the meal in defeat. Waiter came back and was rude that I ate the wrong meal. Took forever for refills and meals that were too small for the price. View was nice. Would recommend for lunch if you're from out of town

Food was a 5/10. Very expensive and not too much food on the plate. We ordered a spinach side dish and we couldn't put it in our mouths. It tasted like salt and vinegar. I have a feeling that the spinach was frozen, not fresh.The cheese plate and the cornbread is the only reason why I didn't give one star. Service was atrociously slow. I sat outside and the view was nice, but my server took 20 minutes to get me a water refill. I expect way faster service for a high class restaurant like The Rusty Pelican.

One of the world's famous landmarks of Miami on the ocean side. Great skyline views. Underwent remodeling not long ago however the food offerings changed towards the wanna-be gourmet with small portions and exhorbitant pricing. Apparently not a smart move, patrons get a drink or two and leave.
Still great for pre arranged social gatherings!

First we parked in the second row where there was no valet signs at but when we got to the entrance we was told we had to pay because that was valet parking. When advise the attend there was no other parking spaces available he said that's not his problem.. secondly I was still in the middle of eating when our server started to clear the table he actually touch my plate that still had food on it. Never came back to do any refills or anything finally the food was horrible for the price we have had better lobster at Outback Steakhouse for 301.00 definitely not worth it

The food, atmosphere and view was FANTASTIC! The service though was slow. We were in the lounge area with 21 PEOPLE AND ONLY ONE SERVER!

Many never received silverware and ended up taking them off the tables in the bar are. We kept asking for water and the server would show up with a carafe, fill one or two glasses then take the carafe away.

To get checks were a nightmare as our ONE SERVER didn't write anything down so she was the only one who could give us checks. And with her other tables it took over 45 minutes for all of us to receive and pay our bills!

IMPRESSIVE SERVICE! TERRIBLY NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!

Amazing amazing amazing . Phenomenal service went here for Valentines dinner when you sit outside the view is amazing between 5 o'clock and 9 o'clock to see the sunset and the city lights. Had a 5 course meal here and it was the best experience ever. The waiter Alex was so nice and helpful. And it feels like everything moves so smoothly here at this restaurant. I hope other customers treat their waiters with more respect here. They give you a friendship-type of catering. Thank you Rusty Pelican for an amazing Valentine's Dinner.
