I am extremely satisfied with my recent truck purchase from Poughkeepsie Nissan and that is largely due to the service I recieved from one of the salesman, Mike Holsberg. From the moment we walked in, he was polite, knowledgeable, understanding, motivated but not pushy at all, which unfortunately, is all to common in this business. Mike and Poughkeepsie Nissan made a deal with me that was fair and that I'm satisfied with. I even was able to negotiate some after market items (bed cover, floor mats) that I had to go back for those and they still treated me outstanding even post-purchase.

This dealership is an hour and half away from my house but if I were to need a new Nissan I am confident I would make the trek up there just to do business with Mike and the team at Poughkeepsie Nissan.

    I definitely recommend them.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. What an awesome place! I came here with my dad just to look and hopefully find the right car for me. I brought my dad because I knew nothing about dealerships and was nervous I might get the worst deal ever going by myself. I was really interested in the Nissan Rogues, specifically a certified preowned one. I wasn't ready to buy a brand new car just yet.

When we started browsing the lot just to see what they had for sale, Tom came up to us, very welcoming, not pushy, and so nice!! We told him exactly what we wanted, and he tried everything, and I mean everything, to find the right car for me! He was so patient with us, answered all of our 1,000,000 questions we had, and really went above and beyond.

We left that first day because I didn't fall in love with anything he showed us, but before we did Tom told me there were more options coming in the next few days. He called me right away. (Which was nice he took us seriously and really wanted to help!) I went to check it out, and I found the perfect one, everything I requested for mileage, price, some things it didn't have like leather seats but I wasn't picky about that! The scary part usually is always going through the financial stuff, but it went so smoothly. Another BIG shout out to Jimmy, who made signing all the paperwork so easy. He explained everything to me before l signed anything. And was so informative. (Side note: I had to come after work all the way from Stamford, CT - by the time I got there they were pretty much closing, so it was really nice he stayed and didn't rush me out of there.) What a cool guy!

Thank you Tom and Jimmy (and the Poughkeepsie Nissan staff) for making this experience so awesome!

Went out of their way to fix a flat when I broke down on the road the dealership is on. Had brakes and tires done. Prices are very honest. I verified their prices with a independent service shop that I go to. Just was going to Nissan for a recall and ended up having them do my brakes and tires.

My friend purchased a used car and didn't Haggle the price. And was given the runaround when asked about a second key he was told they would provide. We actually went down the street to a Mercedes dealership talked to them to see if it was protocol to provide a second key. They informed us that yes that's the way they performed business and should be ther's. The manager happened to know the general Manager made a call for him and was reimbursed the 500 dollars it cost for the second key. While waiting with him and looking around nobody ask if we needed help or had any questions. They were to buzzy on cell phones phones waiting for time to go buy.

Unethical, immoral and downright sleazy sales manager named Jimmy DeGelormo sold me a car 3 years ago with 3rd party financing. Looked at the car with saleswoman Ann, and was required to return the next day to sign paperwork with sales manager. Jimmy attached a $2500 used car warranty to the sales price, and told me that Wells Fargo, who was financing the car, required it to be purchased for used car financing. I purchased a 100,000 mile warranty for a car with 61,000 miles, assuming the warranty would extend to 161,000, but in reality the warranty expired at 100,000 miles, which would have been covered by the manufacturer (KIA) anyway. In addition, Jimmy handed me a pre-filled out waiver of gap insurance because he told me I wouldn't need it with the warranty I was required to purchase, since all major repairs would be covered. After speaking to Wells Fargo today, I discovered that Wells Fargo never requires the purchase of a warranty, and currently the engine is seized up at 115,000 miles in Petersburg, VA, and the warranty won't cover it. I called Jimmy, and he was not only unhelpful, rude, and condescending, but he admitted that he made a commission off the warranty, but not enough "to make him rich," before he asked me "why I was calling him?" and hung up on me.

Don't drive next to this place, They will steel your wallet. I wish I could give them 0 stars. My car has a life time warranty for transmission, they want to charge me $5000 to fix it, I said not to do it, when I pick up the car, they charge me for an oil change and the fixed my A/C, $240,. They said it was for diagnosis. I won't be back there never again

What a great experience! I couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience! From the moment i walked in i was greeted by Kerly, the receptionist. She was very attentive of my needs and worked diligently to find the right salesperson for me who helped me find the right car.
