Beautiful, quaint little place. Loved the "adult coloring books" in the bar area. Beautiful sitting room with a fire place. Dinner was amazing. Everyone was friendly and attentitave.
Beautiful place. The new chef is really stellar. Now is the time to check it out!
Loved it so much it will be our wedding venue in 2019! Upgraded to a bigger room on the ground floor because my fiance is on crutches. Beautiful aesthetic, with a gas fireplace and soaking tub. Spent the evening drinking cocktails and playing Scrabble in the lounge with a roaring wood fire before an amazing dinner at Butterfield (steak on wood fired grill was so good). Highly recommend.
Amazing little wedding venue. Everything is close to each other and the house has amazing little spots that make great photos.
Everything about this place is amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the staff. EVERYTHING! I love it.
The new owners updated the facilities. It is beautiful. The new menu is a bit upscale. The burgers were excellent.
This was a beautiful hotel, property and little town. The design was lovely and the details thoughtful. We enjoyed hanging by the pool, watching an outdoor movie and walking to the orchard for some hard cider! The onsite restaurant was delicious, and we enjoyed freshly foraged mushrooms 2 nights in a row. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and vibe was chill. A nice little country getaway.
Their website booked us the day after we intended, and I didn't find out until we got there. Then there was nobody at the front desk or anywhere to be found, and they refused to return my deposit. Be very careful with this place, and double check everything.
Appetizer was so-so, but the main courses were delicious. The atmosphere was classy, but had a slightly pretentious vibe, as if out of step with the area. Prices were on par with what you'd expect from a Brooklyn restaurant.
The restaurant and bar are a great small place to meet friends for a nice dinner. The best part is that you don't feel crowded like you would in so many other places that try to get as many people in as possible.
My husband and I visited Hasbrouck House this past Valentine’s Day for a short one-night getaway from our busy schedules. From the moment we arrived we felt pampered, welcome and very impressed by the attention to detail that went into the restoration. We enjoyed a relaxed, incredible dinner. If you enjoy the finer things in life with a modern twist, a proper bathtub and details that are too perfect to mention, you must visit this gem of a place. Close to NYC and major routes. The Valentine poets; Maya and Amy were a creative addition to our special night. We will return! Thank you Ruth for everything. Kadie and Dan
What a find of a place! We have nothing bad to say about our stay at all. The rooms are decorated with a lovely modern mix of old and new, the grounds have really pretty landscaping, and the house itself is beautiful. This was our first trip to Ulster County and we would definitely like to come back. Kudos to whoever re-opened this place! (Also would be lovely for a wedding)
Beautifully designed and maintained inn, with an on-site restaurant & bar. Bonfires at night are a great way to make new friends. BYO marshmallows.
