This is a local. ..No hassle and direct to the point tire and auto repair dealer. No upselling. Not trying to just make a profit for local people but earning their trust one person at a time. Keep up the good work.

We LOVE PORTERS TIRE STORE,, My Daddy taught me when I was a teenager in the 70s to always have my tire work or if I needed tires to Always shop PORTERS,, They also are A Christian Family owned business and ROGER PORTER IS MY PASTOR AT SARTAIN SPRINGS MISSIONARY CHURCH AND HIM AND HIS WIFE ANGIE ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE !!! PORTERS WILL ALWAYS TREAT YOU RIGHT !!!

I am so disappointed! After reading the reviews I had high hopes for Porter tire. They were a deviation from our normal tire guy but he is always a 2 week wait minimum for an appointment and we were in a rush. So, short story, they had a timely opening and we took it. I should have waited the 2 weeks and used my normal guy. Even though I was PLANNING on buying 2 new brand name tires and have it aligned (spending roughly $700) and I drive a 2000 model mini van, I was treated like a second rate citizen and barely even spoken to while I was there! I WAITED on the work to be completed and they KNEW I was waiting, I still had to find my van parked around front and go asking if it was done. Still not sure how long I waited before going outside and finding it!
All in All, if you are rich and/or stupid with your money, you'll be treated fine I expect but if you are frugal, on a budget, drive an old vehicle? Don't bother with this place, they will take advantage of you if they can and make you feel like a lesser person for not allowing it if not!
Point to the CURRENT OWNER? Just a thought but the old man in the pictures didn't build a business like the one you received by treating the little guy like crap! The sweat on those men's brow GAVE HIM the business you enjoy now owning. Would he approve of the way I was treated WITH YOU IN THE BUILDING??? I highly doubt it!response / report this review -

Was most expensive place to buy tires out of the other 3 places in Greeneville. Good people great attitudes and a nice looking shop. But had to spend my $500 at another vendor.

Always busy but never harried. I feel a sense of honesty when I'm there. That's missing from many in the service industry. Porter's has a great reputation around here.

It was my first trip to Porter Tire so I didn't know what to expect. I was greeted politely as soon as I arrived. I told them what I needed and they began the work immediately. I waited inside the office and was treated very well by the clerk. My work was completed promptly and I was on my way. I was very impressed by every aspect of my visit. They dealt very well with every issue and explained everything with knowledgeable information. 👍🏻. Great job everybody at PORTER TIRES..
