Hot tub was great. Massage services were not so great. I will give them kudos because we were running late due to an auto accident but the masseurs were not good. My husband and I had a couples massage and neither of our masseurs listened when we told them what we needed. Mine literally applied pressure to a small area on each hip for a half an hour although I repeatedly asked him to do strip massage on my hips and legs. He just kept telling me to breathe as he applied pressure to the same area when I kept telling him that isn’t what I needed. I eventually gave up and just focused on the money I was wasting. The areas I needed addressed were not addressed and I left as sore as when I arrived. My husband was the same.he has low back issues and she focused only on his neck. For over 100 dollars it was NOT worth it. I would go back for the hot tubs in a minute.wonderful experience and worth every penny. The massage.save your money.

Im sure we would have loved it, but booked room for 2 nights for approx $400- after we drove for hour up tiny pass to get there ( which was beautiful but we were pulling a Huge trailer) i went to check in and the hot tubs and access to healing water was an extra charge not included in the cabin rate. The staff was great and gave us a full refund on cabin as i just could not afford to spend anymore on hot springs n lodging at that time. But beautiful place.

Great place to relax in a tub filled with natural hot spring water. We've been coming to Hot Springs for nearly 10-years, and love it! A few tips: Bring a towel, or rent one for $2. Arrive early, because you can start when the tub is ready, but they start draining the tub at 5-min till the end of your time. 1-hr goes by surprisingly fast, so, you might consider getting a 90-min reservation. You have to make a reservation. It's unlikely you'll get a spot as a walk-in. Lastly, give yourself some time to relax by the fire after your soak. You're in the mountains, and Hot Springs is even on the Appalachian Trail It's another enjoyable reminder of where you are.

Hot Springs was such a great experience! It is just a short 40 min drive from Asheville and definitely worth it. It was so relaxing and the view from the tub was so amazing. It is a wonderful way to spend an hour of your time sitting in nice tub in natural mineral water. The temperature of the water was perfect as well. I highly recommend making a reservation the next time you're in the area.

Really fixed this place up nicely. The new tubs are soooooo much better than some of the old ones. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating were the restrooms and changing rooms. And to be honest, its nothing a gallon of bleach, a dust mop and a thorough cleaning wouldn't cure. Pouring some bleach in the toilets and letting it sit overnight might help with the stains.

We only did the hot water mineral tub. The wait to get a reservation on the phone was 10 mins. The check in was fast as well as when we went from the check in center to be assigned a tub. There are dressing rooms and restrooms to use before and after the tub. We rented towels. The hot tub is surrounded by a wooden building with one side of bamboo. The river can be heard while taking a soak. The water is very hot. They have a cool mist machine which we needed. The packages should be sold in half hour instead of hour packages. We didn't make it the full hour. There was water in a cooler to rehydrate when the soak is done. There is a warning about doing this with medical conditions. We are healthy people and we couldn't make it the full hour. I thought Elmer Fudd was going to slice some carrots and onions in the water like in the Bugs Bunny cartoons.

Really enjoyed our experience in the mineral baths at the spa! Definitely a trip worth taking. Very relaxing in the evening, the staff was great!

I was in the mountains for a relaxing vacation, and this place's mineral baths perfectly worked into that theme. The staff were very kind and helpful. The hot spring baths are each private, and have a great view of the river below. The tubs had nice jets, and the heat and water are great to relax to. They even have a water mist spray if you need to cool down.

We stayed at the Sand Bar house for a weekend with friends and it was great. The grounds are beautiful. The house is well stocked with living essentials. Really homey. And within walking distance to downtown Hot Springs. We will return!

A great place to get away for a relaxing weekend. I rented a tub at night and would have loved some string lights or something a little more charming in the tub area. Also had a massage and facial with Katie that put me to sleep! Campground/cabin area is well shaded and have bathrooms with lights and mirrors. Overall, a great experience.

A great place for a romantic evening. Perfect for a couple or more. Highly recommend going in the dead of winter with a cooler of whatever. Complete privacy which is appreciated with a beautiful view of the river.

Stayed in mid May 2017, for our honeymoon week. We booked Cabin 10 for a secluded getaway, and that's exactly what we got!

Pros:
Cabin was cozy and clean. Inside was a fully stocked kitchenette, TV with satellite cable, dining table for 4, bathroom with shower stall, AC unit, floor fan, hair dryer, ample towels, bath robes, toiletries, a comfy full sized bed and a pull out sofa. Outside was private parking, fire pit, picnic table, grill, large secured trashcan, and of course the PERSONAL SPRING WATER HOT TUB

Not exactly sure why this water is better than any other, but it sure was fun to sit in a tub looking out on to a river. Water is hot. Each tub is cleaned after the last guest and filled up with new water. I feel like they could spruce the place up a little with some sidewalks at around $40 for a full tubs of people. An hour also seems a touch short. For me, it was more about the atmosphere. I notice a difference in my skin from swimming at the ocean, but nothing from this.

Thank you Brooke, Heather, & Kathy at Hot Springs Inn & Spa for turning a a disastrous week with no water or heat at our new home into a free upgrade to The Mountain Room Suite, all to myself! The bathtub was 3 ft deep with nice hot water. I was cozy & warm all night even though it was only 18 degrees outside. This huge suite was clean, well appointed, with a nice flat screen TV & the softest bedding I've ever touched. I will never forget this heart warming experience ladies!

It's quaint. The key is understanding it's a tiny southern town resort. This is not a modern spa, nor is it a natural outdoorsy experience. It is a mineral soak that is a hot tub filled with naturally warm mineral water piped down to a small bungalow on the banks of the river or creek. We went twice during our visit. Once, during the day with snow on the ground, the water wasn't quite warm enough to make it comfortable without having all but your head submerged. We had a deluxe tub with 2 adult couples and it was hard for us all to fit completely submerged. I would suggest no more than 3 adults, as stated, without getting a bigger tub when it's cold weather. Overall it was a good time, everyone was super friendly and tub 5 has the best views!
