The food and the service are outstanding and it is probably the only restaurant in Central Florida that serves borscht!

I resisted going here for years. Not was that a mistake. It's kind of a dive, but the food is out of this world. I hate beets, but their beets have converted me. They are one of the best foods on the planet. So are their potato pancakes, chops, applesauce, challah bread, deviled eggs and on and on

Who would have imagined that I would be completely taken by a Polish restaurant. Honestly, when is the last time you have been guided toward a Polish restaurant? Most of the time we hear, "I want to go to that Italian, Mexican, Asian" and so on.
This place reminds me of how much I have yet to learn about the vast and immense world of food.
From the moment we sat down, our sweet and very nice server, Mary Ann, treated us as if we sat down in someone's home. She went through the menu and pointed out some things a newbie to the cuisine might enjoy; I went with the Polish Sampler, which consisted of two Pierogi, choice of Tomato or Mushroom Sauce on one Stuffed Cabbage, choice of Fresh or Smoke Kielbasa, and a Polish Sauerkraut. This all might sound foreign to you as it did to me, but the unique blend of ingredients is an absolute delectation.
I have been pondering whether breaking down dishes into detailed interpretations of their ingredients is helpful or not. I think for acclaimed critics it is vital, since they are using a sophisticated approach toward dining experiences for that special type of reader. My point is that, without resorting to the classic phrase, "It was awesome!" I can say justly that the flavors were bold, satisfying, and left you craving more. My sampler dish ended up being a palette of new discoveries. I moved my fork through the dish like a wand, wanting to experience more of the magic called Polish cuisine.
When I finished and Mary Ann gave us our check, I looked over at Elise and said, "Now this is one of those nights I feel happy indeed." Finding a new type of food from another part of the world for the first time is a true pleasure in life.response / report this review -

Authentic Polish cuisine and a amazing bakery with incredible deserts. The server was very friendly and attentive. The kitchen made an error and under cooked my food. The manager apologized and brought me a new perfectly prepared dish and even took it off my bill. I thought that was great because most restaurants will not do that. I will definitely be back.
