The worst place ever employees are rude disgusting so close they get on you for asking a damn question. I don't understand why they hire people like that..
Worst custumer service. Worker's are stupid and work too slow.
Manager the same is bad. They can't resolve any problems or just try to resolve them. Every time what they say is :"Sorry we can help you, its not our fall".
I well recommend to walk in in other place if you dont need to lose your time .
I highly recommend making an appointment unless you want to wait up to 2 hours even when I got there at opening. I went to get drivers license renewed this seems to take the longest. Do it online if you can to avoid the long lines. Once I was seen the lady was very nice and fast I think it's their systems that are slow.
The Zootopia characterization of sloths was a compliment compared with the service, starting with the computer system, this would be an ideal place to start "Draining the swamp".
My husband and I went there to change our licenses because we moved from NJ, he is a resident and I am a citizen I spent 5 hours waiting the first person who assist me was very nice, after I was done and I was still waiting for my husband to get everything done, I remembered that I had to return one of my plates because I had and accident 2 weeks before and one of my cars was claim has total loss, I do the front line and I ask the person in front and I explain her everything in a very sweet way she suggest me to go back inside and tell the person who change my dl to help me with that, so I went back but she wasn't there, so I saw another lady and in a really polite way, I tell her can I please ask you a quick question, she answered me, in a rude way, I'm not even clock in, I still in my luch time and look at me like I'm crazy (she was at her desk in front of the computer) hello, I'm not a wizard, I just said I'm sorry and I step backwards, then I see another lady next to that one working in the computer, I explained her, I had an accident, I lost my car because the impact was hard, so I just want to surrender my plate, the I had 6 hours at the Dmv already and the I almost forget to surrender my plate, it was amazing how she just start telling the I'm so wrong, the things are not like that, the I can't come back and forward, the I should do the line again because I should told the first person everything I wan't and in a certain way, (not be waisting her time). My eyes got full tears of how mad I was, how come she can feel more powerful or higher than any one to talk to a person in a such rude way, with a tone making you feel stupid, I had an accident less than 2 weeks ago, I lost a car, I can't even try to turn on a car because I keep having nightmares with that time, I just spent my whole day thirsty and starving waiting in a endless line at the dmv, moving from another state, and she just treated me like garbage, the only thing I request to people, be more human, even when you have problems others have even bigger problems but never NEVER mistreat someone for no reason, not even if you have a reason. PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN HOW TO RESPECT OTHERS AND BE KIND NOT EXPECTING ANYTHING IN RETURN. At the end we left DMV at 5:15 pm, in total we spent 9 hours and 15 minutes.
Worst experience of my life. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Been driving for 18 years. Never waited for more than an hour at a license renewal visit. I waited from 8:30am-4:30pm in their "virtual line" yes, you ready that right 8 hour wait! Wasn't just me hundreds of people had the same experience there. Their wait times would fluctuate from 189 estimated wait to 200 then go down to 100 to go back up to 500 and the employees said those fluctuations are normal so beware until they fix this you will not have an eta that is accurate. Very bad system.
Walked in at 945, got in line on the system, 5 hour wait, no problem. Came back at 230, now it's a 3 hr 45 minute wait that's ridiculous!!! When I inquired, "yes you're in the system but some people just got back from lunch so it may move faster now. You're just going to have to wait another couple of hours" No I really can't!! 8-10 hours to get a driver's license is ridiculous!! One star is being generous, someone should be held accountable
Today 4/24/2017 we had an appointment scheduled for 2:40pm to transfer a title to our new vehicle and renew my DL. When my number was called Teller , window 21 was very rude and told us she could not help us because the apt . was for general issues and not for titles nor DL, we could go to the Colonial branch because appointments for Title transfers were already closed for the day ???? I told her: " ma'am , the times I have come to this office everyone has been very kind and helpful, but THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS. We went to the front desk to make another appointment , when the Teller offered to help us even if we had to wait a couple hours . I told her we appreciated her help and people like her truly made a difference in this world 👍. So, we were able to take care of everything all because of the good attitude and the will to help from this Teller at the front desk . The bottom line , employees especially those her serve the public should be willing to help their customers , it is their duty and if they don't like their job, they shouldn't be working there. I have never received such poor customer service . Perhaps employees should take clases of Effective Comminication .
I know the DMV is slow but this was just ridiculous. I have to renew my license plate but can't do it online since Florida classifies over 21 plates as a different type of plate than under 21 plates for motorcycles. I waited 30 minutes in line before I could speak to somebody. Aggravating but to be expected at a DMV. Unfortunately, most of the line isn't inside. It's outside. Then I told them that I had to renew my license plate so they got my name and number and said they'd text me when it was my turn. They said it'd be a 76-96 minute wait. That really sucks but, once again, it's the DMV; it's to be expected. Luckily, the tax collector office is right down the road from the Florida Mall so I decided to kill time over there. After a half an hour I check in on the time until it would be my turn. They text me that my wait time is now 102-122 minutes. What?! How could I have waited 30 minutes and have the time go up by 26 minutes? That would be almost an hour extra (basically 80% more from their low estimate) assuming that the time doesn't get longer beyond that which I'm sure it would. I allotted a good chunk of my day to be spent at the DMV but it could've been 3 hours from the time I show up at the DMV to when they actually start helping me (unincluding drive time) so I had to pull out of line so I wouldn't be late for work.
I drive home and decided to try to make an appointment for tomorrow so that I don't run into the same issues but their website is almost as bad as actually going to the DMV. For each location, it gives you the option to get in line immediately or schedule an appointment but, for some reason, both options take you to the exact same page where you immediately get in line. For all I can tell, the only thing that the website is letting me make an appointment for is for driver licenses. It doesn't say it anywhere on the page though. The only reason I can guess this is because that's literally the only one that the website is letting me make appointments for. So I decided that it would probably be better to just try to make an appointment over the phone. But I was on the phone for like 3 minutes while a recording was just talking about new laws and it gave me no option to talk to anybody or even asked me what I needed besides asking if it was a bout a vehicle or something before I gave up and turned to google to rant about this. I've never given anybody a review on google or anywhere for that matter but this whole system was so backwards that I just had to. It's just awful.
We serve customers from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Wednesdays). Lines may close early if we are at capacity. Appointments are required for road tests.
Additionally, customers with dealer work at our Sand Lake Location will no longer be able to sign into QLESS or make appointments, and should go directly to the NEW dedicated Dealer Services only window.
5 STARS Because Dani and her Trainer took the time to help me through dealing with the insurance company and getting the records straight like ROCK STARS! Waits don't bother me a bit, customer service is what I pay attention to And Dani and her trainer went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of.
Wow, five stars for a government service?
I arrived as a walk-in 15 minutes before the office opened at 9 am to renew my driver's license. There was a line, so I wasn't able to check in until 9:07.
The queue system is clever. You provide your cell number, and then receive a confirmation providing an initial estimated wait time. My first estimate was 15-35 minutes. You can reply "S" to get an updated wait time.
At 9:27, I was notified my time had come. Paperwork, payment and printing were completed by 9:40 and I was out the door.
Great job! Oh yeah, the employees were pretty friendly, too. Not a place I'd want to go to everyday, but I'm glad they've tried to make the process more efficient.
