Black and blue Cowboy cut ribeye with veggies and crab stuffed flounder and caesar salad were all great. Service great to. Ordered steak medium and it was cooked perfectly. Sweet tea was awesome.
This is a must eat place while in Deep Creek! The cream of crab soup was flavorful and filled with lumps of crab. I got the Pine Lodge Teaser Salad. The combination of flavors was incredible. I wouldn't have usually opted for poppy vinaigrette dressing but don't change it, it works well. My husband got the Oak Barrel Steak and Crabcake combo. The steak was one of the best he's ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and the sauteed onions and mushrooms are a suggested accompaniment. Our waitress, Angie, was so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience at Pine Lodge. She asked my husband to cut into his steak upon serving it to ensure it was cooked to his liking. It was a bit undercooked and right away she sent it back to correct it. Great service plus great food, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop in.
My wife and I came here for our Anniversary dinner and I must say it was fantastic! Our service was great, the food was delicious and the presentation was top notch. The two dinners for $22 on Tuesday nights is a deal that you simply can't beat. We will definitely be back!
I had an unforgettable experience, my boyfriend proposed to me and the service was fantastic and extremely accommodating. They stayed open later than expected and the waitress was more than happy to take photos and videos. She catered to our every need and was extremely nice. The food was fantastic, the building is breathtakingly beautiful and the atmosphere was cozy. I would suggest this place for any special occasion they really went above and beyond!!!! I wish there was an option to add more than 5 stars it was that amazing!!!
Service was fast and delightful. Food was cooked to perfection and was quite enjoyable. Love the atmosphere and friendliness. Don’t believe any of the negative comments. This place is a great place for good food when in Deep Creek.
We were going to eat at another restaurant in the same shopping center that turned out to be permanently closed, so we decided to try Pine Lodge. We were the only customers there. The place was clean and well-cared for, and our server was on top of her game. My husband loved the crab cake, and I loved the steak salad. Glad we found this place and we'll definitely be back!
Don't understand the weak rating. Really enjoyed this place. Slow fall Sunday evening. Couple of other patrons. Derek was our server. Jovial, fun waiter. Very knowledgeable of menu. I had the lamb on his recommendation. It was amazing but came out a little under done. He took it back and re-cooked it himself to make sure it didn't get overdone. Superb. Wife had blackened chicken salad. Was also very good. Highly recommended.
We had the crab stuffed flounder and lamb special. Both were quite delicious. The desserts were tasty as well. The service was attentive and responsive. A great overall experience.
We have been to Pine Lodge Steakhouse many times since they first opened, and last night's visit will probably be our last. Early on their food was wonderful, fresh, and worth the price, but they seem to have gone downhill, sadly. The prime rib was tough and overcooked. The Pine Lodge dinner salad was missing several of the listed ingredients. The side/starter salads were just iceberg lettuce mix straight out of a bag (they used to be a nice fresh spring mix) and don't come with the meal. Meals come with one side, so if you are thinking of salad and baked potato with your steak, plan on paying for a second side. We started with the calamari appetizer which was okay but didn't seem to be fresh. Our entrees came out with the salads, even though our server said she would have the salads brought out first. All in all, not a fine dining experience; mediocre at best.
So we were tired of pizza and wanted a nice steak. I was trying to keep an open mind - even though it smelled funny when we walked in and I felt like we were at a booth at Denny's. I still had hope. Tried the famous crab soup and we ordered 3 filets off of the regular menu (my 6 year old likes medium rare and we were told the steak on the child's menu could not be cooked less than medium). One of our steaks was cooked appropriately- rare, the other two were over cooked but didn't bother sending back since we already sent a glass of wine back. There are a lot of inexpensive high quality red wines out there to compliment a nice steak, I feel the wine list should be updated. I'm not sure how this place has such great reviews. They are struggling - people getting up leaving without ordering and complaints all around. The manager and our waiter were doing everything they could to make it a nice experience for us. Unfortunately will not go back unless some major changes happen.
We were seated immediately and our entrees arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The food was perfection (filet mignon and crab-stuffed flounder). Our waitress, Caitlyn, catered to our special requests and also arranged a free birthday treat. The only negative component was the attire of the staff. The decor was tastefully rustic, but the staff was sporting Hawaiian shirts. I am very visual and detail-oriented, and this shirt was extremely off-putting and detracted from my full enjoyment of the experience. That's the reason I can only give 4 stars; my husband gives 5!
Very nice place. Sarah was a very good waitress. She was much better than the food. Drink special that night was better than the food.
Great service, I had the creamy crab soup, yummy! It was funny to see the staff dressed in Hawaii shirts it doesn't really go with the "lodge" theme, but rather gives a cheesy feel, like i was at the Honi Honi Bar.
Food was delicious, however the service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes before we were seated, to be lead to an empty dining room. The waitress seemed frazzled, several times she would go back to the kitchen and we could hear her yelling at the kitchen staff. It took a lot of time for anything to come out, for our plates to be removed, or for our drinks to be refilled. The manager seemed slightly clueless and didn't know what to do when we told him my husbands chicken scampi didn't have any chicken. My fathers steak on his salad came out cold. Other than that, the food was good. However the service left much to be desired.
They prefer reservations, which we didn't have, but they found room for our party of 6 and were very friendly. We had a a wonderful waitress (Sara) who was an absolute pro at her job. Good food and nice views. Will be back!
