Fantastic food here. We always love finding great steak while traveling from Iowa, and this place met our expectations. The meal started off right with beer-battered cauliflower, French onion soup, and garden salad. My bone-in ribeye was delicious and perfectly cooked; my wife described her shrimp as amazing. Atmosphere is cozy and dark as a good steakhouse should be. Definitely worth a visit.

The crab cakes were fabulous!!! The way you can actually taste the fish and not just spices. Also the spinach salad was great as well. The bacon vinaigrette is to die for. Surf and turf was good. The prime rib was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth.

Thanks so much for a great evening! We came in close to closing with a group of 7 but you wouldn't have known that from the service and quality. Even brewing a fresh pot of coffee well after closing! It was truly a night to remember!

My wife and I went there a couple years ago while in the UP visiting her dad. WE were told this was THE place to go. We both ordered Ribeyes and baked potatoes. When we received our meals, they appeared to be cooked correctly - medium rare. Potatoes looked equally well prepared. Then, we took a bite. Neither of our steaks had bee seasoned prior to grilling. Very little flavor and quite frankly, sub par for a place calling itself a steak house. I wrote a similar review on Tripadvisor as soon as we returned home. I was berated by someone saying the customer has to ask for seasoning - it was on the menu. That's total BS! I've looked several times and no where does it say you have to request seasoning on your steak or anything else. May try it again, but not sure we want to take the chance of a very sub par steak at the prices we paid.

Brought a group of about 20 people here a couple months back.
food was cold, wings were bloody, no ones steak was cooked as requested. Servers were slow to refill drinks. overall a bad experience. wouldn't recommend doing a large dinner here. they even had a 3 week notice we were coming.
