The rooms were very nice and clean, recently renovated hotel. Had fresh cookies all day and coffee/hot chocolate/tea always available. Breakfast was average. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a wonderful Motel on the hill overlooking Hooten and Hancock Michigan. The motel is fairly new has large clean rooms and a friendly staff. For my money this is the best place to stay for business or pleasure. It also has a wonderful breakfast pool and exercise room

I went during a car rally so the hotel was very busy. Not only were the staff friendly and helpful, they were quick and the hotel looked like it ran like normal. Breakfast was great, the food was looked after, coffee carafes were always full. The rooms were very nice. I would easily stay here again

Rooms were super clean. Staff was amazing. Especially Nichole McCloskey. I accidentally left my necklace behind in a room and she was nice enough to mail it back go me. And she was very accommodating. Very great service.

The room was clean and nice. Joseph Morgan at the front desk was literally the most positive and up best hotel employee I have ever encountered. He thanked these 2 veterans who checked in before us no less than 4 times for their service to our country. We booked online and the app put us in 2 different rooms. He checked the system to see if he could change that. When there was a line to check in and the phone was ringing, he took their names and called them back rather than make us wait. The only odd thing was that there was no tourist information in either room like we find in most hotels. If we come back this way we will definitely stay here again.

The staff here are really nice and you can tell they are happy working here. Rooms are clean and nice. The pool is AWESOME. It has a kid pool, a big pool (that isn't deep), and a hot tub. All salt water cleaned as well. Breakfast setup is nice, and the guy working it is friendly.

I was very comfortable at the Country inn. The AC worked great, the room was clean, divided into a living area and sleeping area, it was very comfortable, even with four people. The breakfast was a little disappointing, but the pool/how tub and fitness room, which were open from 6-am till midnight where very refreshing and accommodating.

This place looks great, nice and clean up to date. Good continental breakfast and the staff seemed very friendly. But the bed was super uncomfortable and we asked for a crib and this was the first time ever we had to put it together ourselves.

The rooms are clean and modern, the beds are very comfortable, and they serve a free advanced continental breakfast (more than just cerial and toast. There are also eggs, bacon or sausage, hasbrowns, biscuits and gravy, or you can make your own Belgium waffle.)

ABSOLUTE WORST hotel experience I have ever had.
I paid for a room so our young children and their cousin could celebrate her birthday with some swimming. The manager stops me in the hallway with my daughters and their cousin, all under the age of 6 saying that they could not swim in the pool because they were not listed on the original reservation.
I called corporate and they also spoke with the manager and said that he was correct. This was after we had brought all of our stuff up into the room and the girls were in their bathing suits and had a birthday cake ready to have a little fun.
Needless to say I was just disgusted with the whole situation. I have never been treated as such and I will be bringing this to someone else's attention. We did leave the hotel immediately and found another hotel (holiday inn express) which was accommodating and handled our situation with professionalism and kindness.
Horrible, our company which is right next to this hotel, will not be using this company again.response / report this review
