Great service, pretty sweet pool area with the sauna. Close to everything. Loved it. Great big breakfast as well.

I travel more than 200 days a year so I see my share of good and bad. More so, it's easy to surmise that once one makes it north of the bridge that expectations may dwindle. From the moment I walked in and met Mimi at the front desk - an exceptional first impression I must say - to the experience with housekeeping and my departure and dealings with Mary Jane, I was overwhelmed by the level of professionalism and kindness. It's obvious that whoever did the hiring knew what they were doing, realizing that it takes a special skill set to be able to engage the guests on such an interpersonal level and do so with such deftness and sincerity. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend.

Nice basic hotel. Their breakfast is included with a room and the hotel is located not far from downtown. The room TV is a bit smaller than it should be for the room size. Having a Keurig coffee machine in the room is convenient.

Excellent service. Nice room. We had some questionable neighbors but couldn't hear them. Location is right near a few restaurants.

I went in to pay for rooms for my crew. Service was great and swift it was 4 or so and they had hot coffee waiting looked clean and bright in the lobby and there was a young couple working on a project or something in the sitting area it all felt very comfortable

A nice hotel with an excellent fitness center. They recently added rooms and you can tell where the new rooms start. A full makeover would have been a good idea. Like most hotels in this chain, the shower is made for someone 5'2" or shorter.

Our room was clean and updated. Pool area was also nice. Front desk was helpful and friendly.

I travel a lot for work and stay in HIE around the country. This one is sub par. Breakfast is rather blah all around at HIE. Here the cinnamon buns were room temperature, the pancake machine was broken (please replace with a waffle maker if possible), biscuits we're available but for the first time I saw no sausage gravy. I thought the two went hand in hand at a HIE. The room was decent, but as usual the "firm" pillow is no different than the "soft" one. The sink has no hand towels (only multiple wash cloths), and the shower has no washcloths. Seems like they could rethink the towel layout in the room. Room was quiet, and sufficiently dark to sleep.

Location was easily accessible, and the service was friendly. The rooms are a little dark, but they were very clean.

2nd time staying here. Construction underway, elevator doesn't work. Other than elevator it's a great place to stay. Will definitely come back here for my next over night in Houghton.

Service was good and the room seemed very clean. Breakfast seemed a bit sparse--a lot of empty trays. Overall, it was great.

Great staff, especially Rachel. Clean rooms and breakfast provided. Hotel staff gave me suggestions on were to eat which lead me to some great restaurants. This hotel probably one of the nicer hotels in Houghton area.
