They definitely have freshwater species that you'd never find at the bigbox stores, or would have to special order otherwise. Prices on fish were average and fair. Many of the aquatic plants were melted back a bit and looked rather sad, so I didn't go with them, would've purchased but wasnt sure how well they'd fare in the long run or propagate. Owner was down to earth And seemed very knowledgeable, selection was reasonable for such a small space. Definitely glad I stopped in!

Staff is helpful. Great food selection for cats and dogs. Store is kept clean. Frequent buyer program for certain brands. And customer satisfaction food guarantee is awesome for pet owners trying better products. If you have coupons then be careful, every time I go in to use a coupon it's always a project to ring it through because of all the "rules". Only some competitor coupons are taken from stores that are rarely heard of, sometimes one person will say they take one stores coupon and another will say something else. I bought 2 bags of food, they both had a coupon from Fromm, one was for a Free can for buying the bag, and the other was a Free Small Bag promotion when you buy a bigger bag. I was told I couldn't use both and to save the Free can for next time I come in. I come in next time to get a big bag 5lbs for 19.99, i bring in that coupon (my cats are picky eaters, and now only like one specific food) and now they "can't use it" because i didn't get 1 of the other 7 bags listed on the coupon specifically, and i was told with a smirk and attitude to read the coupon by a cashier. I obviously did read it because i got the correct bag last time, and now im trying to use it explained how I got the correct bag last time, so my options from the managers were that I could get 10 percent off a 2.29 can of cat food, I could get a bag on the listed ones on coupons that my cats won't eat any longee, or I could just buy a bag for 19.99 and can't even get a Free can that I was promised. Honestly, they're nice in their but places that are going to give customers good service and work with them especially when they are spending a good amount of money at the store are going to get business. I've gone there for awhile but I'm just going to go elsewhere since I can get a better price and not have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to be a loyal customer. The pet food sites are giving great discounts with no hassles over coupons or trying to get a Free Can when spending over 50 a month on pet food!

Pets Plus customer service is top notch with a staff consisting of mostly very friendly ladies. The store has a lot of variety and the employees know what they're talking about, this review isn't 5 stars because they didn't have the specific variety I was looking for but still a great local store

Nice store, but the two times we entered to buy fish we waited at least 20 minutes for someone to be free to help us. They need more staff in the fish dept. We walked out both times, but came back because we really wanted certain fish and the prices were good. We never have to wait long at the Tewksbury store and we live in Tewksbury, but for some reason the same fish we wanted in Londonderry are $25.00 each, but are $40.00 each in Tewksbury!! Why is that?? Makes no sense!! So we came back up to Londonderry and had to wait again. 😕 It's nice when the people in the fish dept. take time to answer questions from their customers, but not good when they take 15 to 20 minutes doing that with the same customers while other people are standing and waiting and waiting and waitingetc. So frustrating!!!
