I went here once soon after it opened and was disappointed. Overcooked pasta, mushy meatballs, not terrible but not very good. Well
Decided to try them again last night and whoa. Everything was great. My wife's pasta was perfectly cooked (with their tasty pink sauce), and my special veal chop with mushroom demi over polenta was perfect. Just absolutely exactly how it should be. A bit of char on the bone and everything. You could easily pay ten dollars more for that exact dish elsewhere and be less happy.
I may still not order the meatballs again (I am extremely picky when it comes to Italian food since I grew up in RI). But this place is back on my list as an option.response / report this review -

Fratello's was a good restaurant and nice atmosphere. The bruschetta pushed it up to 4 stars. The grilled salmon was good but a little over cooked.

My husband and I just tried fratello's for the first time Friday and we will certainly be going back. They have a great atmosphere and the food was amazing. I had the shrimp risotto which was the best I have had and my husband had the lobster Mac and cheese. I think our only complaint is that our stomachs are too small and we couldn't eat more. Try them you will not be disappointed.

Upscale pizza in the heart of downtown Nashua. Italian favorites, a rotating seasonal menu, and they have an entire gluten free menu to boot. 5 stars because of the full bar and live music.

Good food, excellent service. We sat in a round booth. The window had many dead flies and a fly and nat circled around us the whole meal. This took away from the enjoyment of the meal.

Just a great place to get some Italian chow and relax Very friendly bartenders with excellent mixology skills, food is good, it's not the north end of Boston by any means, but.. It will satisfy ..prices are good atmosphere is relaxed.

Have eaten here twice. Both time we both had meals we enjoyed. Atmosphere is nice, solo guitarist playing both times. Drinks were of good portion.

Their food is absolutely horrible! NOTHING is made fresh to order and I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. Gross, frozen, reheated and completely disgusting.
