Great brews. Great experience. The horny monk Belgian dubbel really hit the spot after a day of snowboarding. Being unsure of what to order off the menu since most pubs are hit or miss for specific dishes, I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich. Breaded chicken tenders in buffalo sauce, it was by far the best buffalo chicken sandwich I’ve had. Perfect heat and texture in a chicken sandwich. I don’t leave reviews too often for a sandwich, but this one called for it. Being from Denver, I’m not sure the next time I’d be back to northern Michigan, but if I ever am, I’ll make sure to go out of my way for this brewery and that sandwich again. Even the leftovers were great!

The service was great and it was a really cozy place. The food was really good, but slightly pricy. However, people really come here for the beer so it isn't too much of a complaint.

Nice selection of craft beer. They serve food as well, got the chicken soup which was good. They cans and crowlers to go which are 32 oz cans the full from the tap and secure the lid on there.

My wife and I came to petosky for her birthday. We ended up having dinner here and it was amazing. The burgers are a must. Best burger I've ever had. No joke. Service is prompt and our waitress was very helpful in deciding on beers and food. You won't be disappointed. Cheers!

The food was good, though they get you on price by suggesting add-ons that cost more (e.g., sandwiches come with potato chips, and the waitress asks if you want fries instead which cost extra). Service was a little slow, though that might be because we were there at a peak traffic time. It is a crowded place.

Beer selection--let's be honest, you're coming here for the beer--is hit and miss. The servers didn't seem to have any opinion on beer other than it's all good. Which led to a highly-regretted order of a "waffle cone" beer that was so sweet it was like drinking candy. They have some impressive-sounding beers, but were out of the ones I wanted to try the most. And then when I stopped by for a growler of one beer, the bartender told me that they don't fill growlers of that brew. That's all well and good and I understand their reasoning (limited quantities of a specialty brew), it would be nice if they indicated that restriction somewhere other than from the mouth of a busy bartender on a crowded evening.

My recommendation is to sample beers before you buy, and then settle in for a while as you sample. Then find out if your favorites are able "to go," and take your choice to a less-crowded, quieter place to enjoy your choices. The food was fine, but it's really not the reason you're coming here.

Great food! Very impressed with what I got here. A couple of my employees told me about this place, so I went with them one night, and I had so much fun. Will definitely be back.

Of all the brew pub I have been to this one rates around the bottom. I couldn't find a beer that tasted good. I ordered a water to see what it all started with and I found my answer. The waters foul taste explained it all. I did find the atmosphere enjoyable and the bar was tastefully decorated. The service was sub par and the bartenders phone was more important than the needs of the customer.

Coming from someone who enjoys beer and is fairly picky, this was a surprising find during our vacation. Tried 7 of their beers and all were good, many were excellent. The Juicy IPA, triple IPA, and dark and foamy were delicious. The hard root beer is dangerous because you can hardly tell there is alcohol even at 7% ABV. If you are into sours then try the cherry wheat.

The soft pretzels were a nice snack to accompany our flights. Service was great! Very attentive and friendly.

    Highly recommended!

I love this place. Every time we are in the area we stop by for dinner and a drink. They have a good selection of good beer. I am especially fond of the chipotle chicken panini. The building is very cool. They have high tops in the bar area and then tables and couches in the "back." They also have a small patio and usually allow well behaved dogs on there.

Brewery is in a cool area, but the beer was nothing to write home about. Not bad, but going to a brewery I'd expect to be more impressed by the beer. The brewery itself comes across as more of a restaurant/bar that also brews beer than a brewery that will serve guests if they show up.

Stopped in at the end of a long walk and was thirsty for a big glass of water. Their water has a horrible metallic taste. They do have friendly service, good beer and great food, but I hope the server is wrong about that water being the same water they use to make their beer. They should consider serving filtered water, the water they're serving is undrinkable.

Good atmosphere and good food. They offer a beer flight allowing a choice of brews to sample.

In terms of across-the-board beer quality, this is probably my favorite brewery. The food and service is on point as well. A must-visit if you're in the area. Easily accessible by bike as well from the Little Traverse Wheelway.
