I purchased one of their so called designer dogs. I should have went to the pound. The dog they sold me was supposed to be a Pomeranian and Bison mix weighing less then 10 pounds and staying small when fully grown. He is a 23 pound medium sized dog. I would never get rid of him because I believe in forever homes. But don't trust the sales people. It is all about $$$$. I also checked into the kennel he was from. It received very poor ratings too.

They're dogs are sick, and the place is infested with rats. Buy an animal here, don't be surprised if it dies or gets hella sick. Your kid will probably get sick going into the store too. Go adopt an animal instead, they're treated better in shelters.

This place gave my no detail on anything when purchasing my bunny. I had purchased my bunny a week ago and she had passed away. There was nothing they can do or give me another one! No bunny should die in a week. No one informed me that buying the “$300 package” included a warranty of 6 months. Buying the rabbit it’s self is only a 48 hour window. Ridiculous.

I have bought 2 pups from this location- the staff is amazing and all care for the animals. The owner is amazing and will talk to you regarding his process with all the puppies and will show you pictures of the breeders. A puppy is an investment it's not a purchase in my eyes, my pups from this location have had NO HEALTH ISSUES where as my other two dogs are MEDICAL MYSTERIES.

I can honestly say the cost of a pup from this location is all well worth it for the care and health the puppy receives while in their care. Coming home with a puppy that is up to date on vaccinations, been checked for any illnesses, along with coming with all paperwork, registration, and been vet checked 3 times prior to even being able to interact with the public is just amazing!

I will forever consider my next dog from petland Robinson location with the owner now!

If it was possible to give them negative stars I would! Ive bought 4 of my dogs there, went in looking to purchase another dog, and the sales women rudely told my wife and 5yr old daughter "you can only play with 1 dog". We werent there to play with the dogs, we were there to purchase a dog! I will never spend another penny in this store ever again!

Should really be zero stars. Pets are not healthy, do your homework please! Do not buy from a pet store, specifically not from Petland! The animals are not taken care of properly no matter what. They are from puppy mills not a reputable breeder etc. Adopt from shelter, or rescue you can get a purebred/designer dog from there too. Save your thousands!! Many dogs have died after they we taken home within months.

This place is absolutely horrifying. For years since Jeff Koury owned the place and now since Bill Davis owns the place, these animals SUFFER. All of these poor innocent puppies are SICK with diseases and stuffed in crates that are far too small for their bodies. They’re all underfed and underweight. The last time I entered this store, I left crying. A dogs paw was stuck in the base of the crate for what looked like days, swollen and couldn’t move. I addressed it to the owner, his response.. “He always gets caught in there he knows how to get out” when clearly, he was stuck, feces all over his body and crate because he couldn’t even move to go to the restroom. Pathetic excuse for humans, who work and run this establishment. These animals eventually die due to lack of care. And the price tag on these animals shows the true greed of these people

New ownership. Fantastic staff. We had a great experience. Everyone we worked with was so knowledgeable about the puppies. Great new vet facilities also. Thankful they have new staffing and ownership that actually cares about the wellbeing of their animals! We got our new baby and couldn’t be happier about the whole experience!

This place is a sham. I’ve been trying for two days to reach the manager about our bunny passing away which we only had under a month. Every time I call I get an arrogant worker telling me That she will have to call me back. This is probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. I believe they sold me a sick bunny and now they are trying to cover their butts. This place needs to be shut down.

I would advise anyone thinking of getting a credit card here not to do so. After paying a fairly high interest rate for over a year we decided to pay the balance off in full. Somehow they were still adding late fees and finance charges to our account. Two times this happened after paying the balance in full. There is "nothing" their customer service can do.

My boyfriend and I went to petland and took out a skinny golden lab, it was not the dog we asked for but we still decided to play with the dog. It was hyper and seemed nice then it started to get extremely aggressive and attack us. It was yanking at our ankles and arms. The dog broke the skin on my boyfriends arm, we told the worker we didn't want the dog anymore and they still didn't take the aggressive dog away. It was to the point that we were standing on the chair in the cubicle and on the edge of the cubicle trying to avoid the dog. And it still tried biting our legs. A woman even stuck her arm in the cubicle and it went after her arm and hand. After that the worker quickly rushed into the cublice to grab the dog and put it away. They didn't ask if we were okay. Everyone watched as the dog was aggressively trying to bite us.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience in the store. Wish people would make informed responsible decisions before posting negative comments without all of the facts. I have shopped around and visited several breeders. The process has been time consuming and disappointing. It wasn't until I arrived at Petland Robinson that I felt comfortable. The store was clean and more importantly all of the kennels were clean. I did not notice any pee or poop in a single kennel. The puppies were playful and energetic. They all appeared healthy. I asked all of the pertinent questions and received straight forward honest answers. I reviewed all of the paperwork of the puggle I purchased for my daughter.

I will highly recommend this store to anyone who asks me! Keep up the great work!!

This is the worst store I've ever been to I know a lot of people who puppies have died from parvo days after getting them here but I still went. Stood there for about an hour the first time waiting for help. No one offered help and there were like two families there picking out 10 different puppies. Couldn't even get a chance to talk to anyone, when I would go near a worker they would run in the back. So I left. Went back again waited for a half hour and finally after careful planning I ran up to one before she could waddle away.. the fat lady stared at me for a while and said are you playing or planning to buy with the worst attitude I've ever seen. I said buy. She immediately turned into the nicest woman ever and ran back and got the puppy. Handled them very poorly too. A lot of them were playing way too rough and poop was all over their cages. She tried so hard to sell me this dog for 3000 dollars. I told her I would come back as I was going away for a few days and I didn't wanna put it in the kennel days after I got it. She said that would be fine and I should just get him. But I said no I'll come back. Her attitude reverted back to her awful attitude. She said we were done with the dog and I accepted it. Wanted out of there and never coming back

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Never again will I ever get a dog from any pet store let alone this one. Yes I know, it was a bad decision In the first place & we should've just adopted one from a shelter but we just had fell in love with him as soon as we saw him. We've had the pup Bo for about 6 months now & have had problems ever since day 1. We're learning that this dog is not a purebred, therefore I don't want to spend $2,000 on a dog that's not purebred, & I didn't want to spend that kind of money on a dog that was supposed to be purebred in the first place. We've never gotten his Pedigree papers either & it's supposedly our jobs to get ahold of the breeder now to get the papers because Bo is no longer in their possession so it's "not their problem" when we should've had papers the day we bought him but we're promised they would be mailed to us. But pet land is now saying if we want them to do anything about it we have to get Bo DNA tested to prove he isn't a purebred or there is nothing they can do. Bo is also starting to have several health issues along with all of the drama of him not being a purebred. If you're looking to buy a dog from here or any other pet land or pet store I strongly suggest you don't, it's one of my biggest regrets. Don't get me wrong, we would be totally lost without our pup Bo, but I wish we would've never bought him from this horrible place.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Bought a miniature dachshund in December of 2016 and 2 months later he passed away unexpectedly. Called the store and they wanted nothing to do with it. Told me I needed an autopsy which was NOT on my warranty. It states in small print on a separate piece of paper that I wouldn't think to look at when something like this happens. I had already had my baby cremated so the autopsy was impossible. I didn't want another puppy at this point, all I wanted was to not have to keep making payments on my Petland credit card for my puppy that is no longer with me. They didn't seem to give a care in the world that my little puppy passed away. The girl said the manager would be in the next day and when I called the next day he was not there and was out on a business trip.. he never contacted me even though the employee said she let him know the circumstances. He never reached out to me. I visited the store with my mom and the manager(Bill?) was not in and they just wanted to get us out the of store so we wouldn't make a scene. Again, the girl said they would let their manager know, yet he never reached out to us. These employees DO NOT CARE about these dogs or they would not support this. They are all puppy mill dogs. All they care about is taking your money and sending you on your way. Adopt from a breeder if you really want a certain breed, not from these store that sell puppy mill dogs. Disgusting

After careful consideration before providing a review I took the time to read all of the current postings and considered my own experience.

    My thoughts are as follows:

    - Overall impression, very clean for a pet store that actually has live animals.
    - Very nice staff that seem to interact well with the new owner (observed as he was leaving)
    - Positive and friendly environment, I would bring my daughter here.
    - Great selection of puppies that appeared healthy and well socialized
    - All of the habitats were clean and free of feces / urine
    - Some of the 1 star reviews are frivolous. sift through all of the BS
    - The store could use a much better selection of products and food (reason for 4 stars not 5)

Final thought, experience the store for yourself to make an educated decision, glad I took the time to stop in. I will be back with my daughter and would be proud to take a puppy home. I agree with the post from Cheyenne Norris, nothing like a brick and mortar store where you can see, touch, smell, and interact with a puppy you are going to bring into you home . I would recommend this store to anyone who is considering a new puppy!

Very knowledgeable, new owner is really nice and trying to do good things there. I love my new puppy. He is crazy smart and well behaved. He got a good bill of health at the vet. My family and I are so happy with our new addition. The experience here was perfect.

After spending some quality time at this location that is under new ownership and management I am pleased to write a positive review.
The immediate changes at this location have been tremendous and too many to mention, but are absolutely worth the trip in to see for yourself!
The store is bright, freshened, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is clean, and a complete remodel is in the works for early 2017. The remodel will include all new kennels and plenty of space for visitors to get to know and spend some time with their possible new family addition (whether it be a bunny, chinchilla, Guinea pig, ferret, kitten, fish, or puppy).
The kennel is versed on how to truly care for puppies and the various other animals. The dogs appear healthy and loved. While many of you on here have questioned this in the past a new visit and some free puppy kisses will be the visualization and reassurance you need to see all the very apparent changes.
The store has moved to grain-free foods and the selections are unlike those at big retails pet stores. I will not rant here but please educate yourself on dog foods that are not co-packed, made in small batches, grain-free foods, and their benefits for your animals. You will find many of these brands here including FROMM.
The new owner is kind, compassionate, and spends his time with each and every family that he can to make sure the decision to bring a new family member home is one met with ease and little concern. To see someone with a genuine heart caring about each and every one of the animals that goes home is refreshing.
Truly educate yourself on dog breeds and the requirements in which a breeder must have before Petland brings puppies to the store. These include, but are not limited to USDA certification, and no direct breeding violations within the last three years.
I know there is some negative stigma surrounding this location, but do yourself a favor and stop in and see the new changes, talk with the owner, and take home a new baby like I have.
